Tunisian ambassador meets with the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs
Tunisian ambassador in the Islamic Republic of Iran met and talked with the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims.
According to the Hajj information base, Tunisian ambassador in the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Emad al-Rahmuni met and talked with the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab. The meeting was held at the place of Supreme Leader Delegation Office.
At the meeting was held with the presence of Supreme Leader Delegation Office in international affairs Hojjat al-Islam Mansoor Mir Ahmadi, Head of Iranian Pilgrims pointed to the long history of relations between the two countries and two nations and said: this cooperation has been in various fields, including Hajj and Pilgrimage.
Referring to the people of Tunisia as an educated and hospitable nation and also referring to the history of the Khorasan people presence in Tunisia, he considered the Hajj officials of the two countries consultation during the Hajj season as an indication of the hajj importance for the two countries.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab positively evaluated the field for improving relations between the two countries in Hajj area and added: Hajj presents many valuable opportunities to Muslims and the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to transfer its experiences in this area to Tunisia and also uses Tunisian experiences in order to improve its Hajj plans.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also invited the Republic of Tunisia Minister of Religious Affairs Mr. Ebrahim Al-Shaibi to visit our country.
Referring to the activities of Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute in Qom and the educational programs for pilgrims, he said: more than 1700 volumes of books for using in various fields, including rituals, education, manners and ethics, secrets of Hajj, Islamic history, holy places and interpretation of Hajj verses have been prepared at the research institute, which can be used by pilgrims.
Tunisian ambassador welcomed the invitation at the meeting and considered the issues raised by Supreme Leader representative in hajj and Pilgrimage affairs in the way of cooperation between two countries in Hajj area.
Describing the relations between two countries as friendly, he expressed hope that two countries Hajj officials have a meeting in order to exchange experiences.
In the continuation of this meeting, two sides described the issue of Palestine as the issue of Islamic Ummah and emphasized on the necessity of supporting Palestine and the Palestinians by Muslims.
Considering the importance of Al-Aqsa storm operation in the history of Islamic countries, the coming Hajj is an opportunity that Muslims pay attention to and help the suffering and afflicted people of Palestine against the child-killing Zionist regime, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said.
The stance of the Tunisian government in supporting the oppressed people of Palestine is commendable, he added.
Tunisian ambassador also called the position of his country and the Islamic Republic of Iran close to each other on the issue of Palestine and stated that the nation and the country of Tunisia believe the land of Palestine is belong to the Palestinians and that these people should remain on their land.
He also described the Zionist regime attacks against the Palestinians as criminal and said: We support the Palestinian nation.
