Hajj registrations exceeds 32000

About 32,000 people have paid the initial payment for the upcoming Tamattu’ Hajj, it was announced at the meeting of Planning and coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

According to the Hajj information base, at the meeting which was held by the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the latest status of registration in the Hajj 1403 caravans and the possibility of Umrah pilgrims being visited were reviewed.


Stating that the number of Hajj registrants has exceeded 32,000 people, deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in Hajj and Umrah affairs Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei assessed the registration process for the upcoming Hajj as good and announced the new priorities until the quota of the provinces are completed.


Hajj 1403 plans are being followed up based on the schedule, and it is especially necessary to announce the exchange rate in order to determine the final cost of Hajj and transferring the currency for the expenses in Saudi Arabia.


Referring the visit of Saudi delegation to our country to review technical issues and visit Imam Khomeini (RA) and Mashhad airports, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Seyyed Abbas Hosseini said In the continuation of this meeting that by Saudi delegation returned and announcement of its investigations, the status of Umrah trips will be determined and the people will be informed.


Stating that the previous actions of the host country in Umrah issue have caused some problems for the people and the organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage, Head of the Iranian Pilgrims expressed hope that by solving the problems, Iranian pilgrims will be compensated by and Iranian pilgrims will come to this spiritual journey as soon as possible by reviewing the planning of expeditions and proper guidance along with the other countries’ pilgrims.


The meeting was continued with the report of Hajj and Umrah Deputy and the General Director of guidance and supervision office of the agents in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization about the measures to form caravan and the composition of executive agents and cultural servants for upcoming Hajj.


It is important to reduce the factors and act in such a way that hidden unemployment is eliminated and the quality of providing services to pilgrims is not reduced, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said at the meeting.


He also asked the officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center and those involved in Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to provide the necessary information regarding the guidelines prepared for the qualification and physical and mental ability of the pilgrims, so that the pilgrims can already know about its effect on dispatching to hajj, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
