Three affective traits

Referring to a speech of Imam Javad (a.s), head of the Iranian pilgrims explained the three ways and traits that can be used to gain love and friendship.

According to the Hajj information base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdul Fattah Navvab, who spoke Monday (2nd Bahman) in a meeting of advising to Haq to the Hajj and pilgrimage complex, congratulating the birth of Imam Javad (a.s.) and on the eve of the birth of Hazrat Ali (a.s.), referred to a narration from the ninth Imam and pointed out three traits that lead to friendship, fairness, sympathy and helping others and also treating others with kindness.


Referring to a narration from the Prophet (PBUH), Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims added: In this narration, the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) introduces himself and Amir al-Mu'minin (PBUH) as the two spiritual fathers of the Islamic Ummah. Those who pay attention to it and act on it, will be saved and freed from the fire of hell.


Referring to some passages from the 24th prayer of Sahifa Sajjadiyah (Prayer for Parents) and emphasizing on the importance of paying attention to the rights of parents, he asked the attendees to read this prayer at any opportunity and consider it in their lives.


Referring to the third part of this prayer that teaches people how to respect their parents, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: we must ask God teach us all the knowledge of serving them whether they are alive or dead.


Stating that the fifth part of this prayer is priority of parents, he said: the awe of parents in the human heart should be like the awe of a powerful king and they should be respected and treated with a such goodness and kindness that a kind mother treat with her child.


Choosing the most gentle words to speak to parents, acting with gentleness, remembering and asking for forgiveness in daily prayers, and respecting and protecting their rights are among the other recommendations in this prayer, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized.


Imam Zaman (AS) is in a way the spiritual father of all of us and he has expectations from us that we must know and try to fulfill, Hoajjt al-Islam Navvab added.
