More than 40,000 people ready for dispatching to upcoming Hajj

So far, more than 40,000 people have registered for going to Hajj 1403, it was announced at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

According to the Hajj information base, Hajj and Umrah deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei said at the meeting that until the capacities are completed, new priorities will be announced in the provinces where registration is possible. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


We are waiting for announcing the exchange rate and some costs, so as to determine the final price of the upcoming Hajj, he added.


Possibility of dispatching pilgrims to Umrah was discussed at the meeting and Mr. Rezaei clarified that with the approval of Saudi side and issuing the licenses for Civil Aviation Organization and the airline company, dispatches will be planned and carried out in the form of new structures and capacities.


Regarding the report presented about the reduction of brokers, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated in the continuation of the meeting that last year, the number of brokers decreased and all capacities in the host country should be used to further reduce and increase the number of pilgrims.


In Hajj, executive and cultural agents should not be removed in any way in key jobs, but things that can be assigned should still be considered and in the process of reducing the forces, attention should always be paid to improving the quality and all efforts should be focused on better and more work, he emphasized.
