Over 70,000 pilgrims have registered to go to Hajj 1403
In the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office and Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the Deputy of Hajj and Umrah of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced the number of people who have so far announced their readiness to participate in the upcoming Hajj is about 70,000 people.
According to the Hajj Information Base, during the meeting which was held under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, Gholamreza Rezaei added that out of this number, there are more than 2,200 people who registered in 2019, but due to the age requirement, they could not be sent in Hajj 1401.
Hajj and Umrah deputy chief added that so far more than 60,000 people have chosen their caravan and this process started last Sunday (March 6) and continues until next Sunday.
This report indicates that at the end of this period, priority ticket holders will be able to register in the empty capacities of Hajj caravans, so that the remaining pilgrims can register based on the announced priorities and the capacity of the provinces, and the announced quota for Hajj 1403 will be completed.
In the continuation of this meeting, the head of the Hajj crisis management headquarters gave a detailed report on the actions taken in the past Hajj and the plans made for Hajj 1403, and explained the roadmap of this headquarters and the preparations and coordination made in the crisis management cycle.
This meeting continued with the report of Mr. Mohammad Hossein Khoshnavis, Vice President of Management and Resources Development and Mr. Hossein Esmaili, Director of Supervision and Inspection of the Supreme Leader's representative office, about the recent trip to Atabat and the strengths and weaknesses of sending Iranian convoys to Iraq, and then Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Hossein Roknedini, cultural deputy of Supreme Leader's representative office, reported on the planning and activities carried out by him for the preparation of cultural servants to be sent on Umrah and Hajj trips.
At the end of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab gave some recommendations in the field of treatment tips for pilgrims and the need for more coordination between the Red Crescent and the insurance company made some recommendations and emphasized that the managers and cultural servants of the caravans sent to Hajj should be justified and to respond to Pilgrims should be updated.
It should be mentioned that the quota of pilgrims and Hajj workers of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the upcoming Hajj is 87,550 people, and this number will be sent to the Land of Revelation in the form of 614 caravans from the end of May 1403.
