Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs meets with the chairman of the Islamic Center of Thailand
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs, who has traveled to Thailand, met and talked with the chairman of the Islamic Center of Thailand.
According to the Hajj information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, who has traveled to Thailand, met with the chairman of the Islamic Center of Thailand Mr. Wachapoul Kumonthamani, and discussed the experiences of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office on Hajj affairs.
The imam of the Islamic Center of Thailand, several members of the board of trustees of this center, managers and deputies of Supreme Leader Delegation Office, and cultural advisor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Thailand Mr. Mehdi Zare’a were presented at the meeting.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs explained at the meeting on the activities of Hajj and Pilgrimage complex in our country and the cost of Hajj in Iran and the role of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office in reducing it. He also and explained the role of the Arbaeen ceremony and how Iranian pilgrims attend this spiritual ceremony.
Head of the Iranian pilgrims also explained pilgrims’ registration and the executive affairs of Hajj in our country. Referring to the 19th night of the holy month of Ramadan and the beating of Hazrat Ali (as) , Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs suggested that the authorities of the Islamic Center of Thailand translate that Hazrat testament and make it available to the Muslims of this country.
Referring to a part of this testament, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out that the Muslims of Thailand followed this testament well in the case of Al-Aqsa storm and defending the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza.
Considering the current situation in the occupied territories, he also emphasized Muslims to be active and present on Quds Day.
Referring to the need to support the people of Gaza and Palestine and also the support of Thai government in this regard, Thai personalities emphasized at the meeting that we Muslims will continue to support the issue of Palestine and the Palestinians.
Welcoming the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and the accompanying delegation, chairman of the Islamic Center of Thailand, pointed out In the continuation of this meeting the joint actions and programs of this center with the cultural consultation of our country in Thailand, especially in the field of launching the Quran exhibition.
The Imam of the Jamaat and Friday of the Islamic Center of Thailand also thanked for presenting the experiences of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of Hajj and discussed the philosophy of holding Hajj from the perspective of the Holy Quran.
He emphasized that Hajj is more than a religious ceremony and in addition to providing a context for Muslims to communicate with each other, it is in line with the interests of the Islamic Ummah.
Referring to the capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields, including science, he expressed hope that these developments and capabilities will be increased.
Referring to the capabilities of Supreme Leader Delegation Office, especially the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute, as well as the scientific and cultural programs of the Islamic Center of Thailand, Supreme Leader Delegation Office’s deputy in international affairs Hojjat al-Islam Mansour mir Ahmadi emphasized at the end of this meeting on the readiness of the mission to cooperate in scientific fields and also compile and translating the book and introducing students interested in studying in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
