Closing ceremony of the educational course of Al-Mahdia school in Thailand
The closing ceremony of training course special for the month of Ramadan was held at Al-Mahdia School affiliated to Al-Mustafa University in Thailand with the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs.
According to the Hajj information base, training course special for the month of Ramadan of Al-Mahdia School affiliated to Al-Mustafa University in Thailand ended its work with the presence of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab. Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs while visiting this school, got acquainted with its activities.
At the event which was presented by the ambassador and cultural adviser of our country in Bangkok, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs spoke in the gathering of Al-Mustafa University representative in Thailand, the professors of Al-Mahdia School and the graduates of this educational course.
Appreciating actions which were taken, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab wishing more success to the administrators, its professors and spoke about the greatness of science and the status of the world.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized the importance of using opportunities to achieve goals and referring to the words of Imam Sadiq (a.s.) about the virtue and greatness of the world's position in the heavens, he listed the factors of human success to reach this position.
He named sincerity, accurate understanding of needs, planning or good appreciation and proper implementation or good planning as these factors and stated: There are also obstacles in this path that can lead to failure.
Stating the abandonment of the human soul as the most important cause of failure and referring the destructive effect of the scholars' slippage, he clarified: the most important way to cure this problem is to leave matters to God and to be very careful in doing things.
Based on this report, Hojjat al- Islam Sadr al-Sadat and Sekhavati the current and former representatives of the Al-Mustafa University in Thailand reported in the ceremony about the actions and educational programs of the Al-Mustafa University in Thailand.
Referring to the impact of the Iranian Islamic Revolution on the movement of Thai Muslims, Hojjat al-Islam Sadr al-Sadat explained about the activities and programs in the fields of education and research.
Hojjat al-Islam Sekhavati also referred the activity of Al-Mustafa University in Thailand in the form of three schools and evaluated the progress of these schools positively.
At the beginning of this ceremony, manager of al-Mahdia School presented a report on the performance of this school in the past 24 years and pointing to the number of graduates and emphasized that today they play a significant role in the affairs of Muslims in Thailand and considering the current situation in Palestine, holding a holy seminar and conference in order to support Palestine and Gaza in Bangkok is one of them.
This report indicates that, with more than two decades of activity in Thailand, Al-Mahdia School has had more than 230 graduates and while accepting new people, 30 students are currently studying there.
