Hojjat Al-Islam Navvab Stresses Orientation Towards Holy Quran and Understanding Words of Revelation in Hajj

The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs while advising the Hajj pilgrims to become more familiar with the Qur'an and to understand the divine verses during the Hajj season said that prioritize the Qur'an and understanding the words of revelation in Hajj 1403.

According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat ​​al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab stated this in the educational-explanation meeting for pilgrims in Tehran province, which took place on Ordibehesht 15) in Azadi stadium with 12,000 people.


"Everything we have is from the Qur'an and Ahl al-Bayt (AS), in the upcoming Hajj, prioritize the Qur'an-centered and human circles with the Qur'an and the understanding of the words of revelation," he added.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab reminded the need to take advantage of the spiritual opportunity of the Hajj journey and advised the pilgrims to take refuge in reciting the words of revelation.


"In the past years, pilgrims memorized 30 chapters of the Qur'an during the Hajj ceremony, and some completed 30 chapters of the Qur'an in their circumambulation, which is a very valuable action," he added.


In another part of his speech, while condoling the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar Sadeq (AS), the head of Iranian Hajj pilgrims said that this Imam created many roles during his life with his blessings and at the same time faced many challenges. 


"Imam Sadeq (AS) as the head of the Shia religion was able to make Shia jurisprudence dynamic and lasting, but at the same time, his Imamate coincided with the beginning of the Abbasid government, which faced challenges and their son Ismail also died," he added.


Referring to the fact that Imam Sadeq (AS) trained many students, the head of Iranian pilgrims said, "This year, after a 9-year hiatus in Umrah, pilgrims from the Islamic Republic of Iran are present at the Baqi cemetery at the same time as the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Sadeq (AS)."


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab further emphasized the need for empathy and solidarity among the Hajj pilgrims, and said, "Enemies are constantly looking for division and discord among the Muslim ummah and do not destroy the unity of Muslims, so the Islamic ummah should be empathetic and maintain unity to neutralize the conspiracies of enemies."


The head of Iranian pilgrims emphasized that Muslims should be kind to each other, and said, "Supporting the oppressed people of Gaza is one of the things that pilgrims should pay attention to the upcoming Hajj ceremonies. Now we see that even students in western societies supporting the oppressed people of Gaza have come to the scene."


Pointing out that all the powers of the West are standing by Israel to destroy Hamas and its commanders, but they have not succeeded in destroying the power of resistance, he asked the Hajj pilgrims to remember the martyrs of Gaza and the oppressed people of this region and the oppressed children. 


The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs advised the pilgrims to avoid lies and arguments during the Hajj rituals and to try to protect the authority of the Islamic ummah by speaking the truth and acting politely.


In another part of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, pointing out that pilgrims' clothes should be appropriate for the House of God, advised them to pray for their children next to the House of God, because the future generation is in danger.


Referring to the fact that increasing love and reducing obscurity is one of the goals of the Hajj feast, the Supreme Leader's representative in matters of Hajj and Pilgrimage addressed the audience and said, "Before going on the spiritual journey of Hajj, put aside grudges and obscurity.


According to this report, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the police chief of Imam Khomeini International Airport (RA) were other speakers of this conference.


This conference ended with the symbolic performance of Hajj rituals accompanied by a number of this year's Hajj pilgrims and the explanations and guidance of the professor of jurisprudence and rulings of Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Hossein Fallahzadeh.
