Head of the Iranian Pilgrims arrives Medina

Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab entered Medina on Friday night at the head of a delegation to monitor the process of providing services to the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram.

According to the Hajj information base, head of Iranian pilgrims accompanied in this year's Hajj accompanied by the chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Seyed Abbas Hosseini and a group of managers and agents of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj complex.


Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and his accompanying delegation arrived in Medina at around 19:00 on Friday along with the convoy of pilgrims by the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines and was welcomed at the Amir Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport by several officials of the Saudi Arabia Hajj Ministry, Islamic Republic of Iran ambassador in Riyadh Alireza Enayati, our country general consul in Jeddah Hasan Zarnegar and the managers of Iranian mission headquarters in Saudi Arabia.


In a speech at Medina airport, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affair expressed his appreciation for the services provided to the pilgrims of our country by the host country during this year and previous years. He also expressed hope the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram have acceptable Hajj.


We hope that God will help us and you in helping the pilgrims as much as possible to hold Hajj ceremony safely and peacefully, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.


In a conversation with the officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage, several pilgrims expressed their appreciation for the efforts to dispatch Iranian caravans to the Land of Revelation and made suggestions about how pilgrims can receive currency.


According to this report, on the flight number 3578 of the Islamic Republic of Iran, where pilgrims from several Iranian convoys were present, head of the Iranian pilgrims and the chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization went among the pilgrims and had a warm conversation with them.


Deputy of Saudi Arabia Minister of Hajj and Umrah Rakan Al-Sabaei, while welcoming Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and the accompanying delegation, emphasized that the government and Hajj and Umrah Ministry of Saudi Arabia will make every effort to provide services to Iranian pilgrims and other countries pilgrims and we hope they return to their country with acceptable Hajj.


Head of the Iranian pilgrims and chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization advised pilgrims to make the best use of this spiritual opportunity to visit Masjid al-Haram and Baitullah al-Haram and God willing, they will have a peaceful and acceptable Hajj.


It should be noted that dispatching Iranian pilgrims has started from Ordibehesht 24 and the departure flights of pilgrims will continue until Khordad 18. According to the Saudi calendar, Hajj rituals will begin on Khordad 25.
