More than 22,000 Iranians transfer to the land of revelation

Hajj 1403 operation continues with transferring more than 22,000 Iranian pilgrims to the land of revelation in acceptable conditions.

According to the Hajj information base, at a meeting, which was held today under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab in Medina, chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced the start of flights for our country's pilgrims to Jeddah Airport last night.


From tonight, about 4 thousand people will be added to the number of our country pilgrims in Baitullah Al-Haram, Mr. Seyed Abbas Hosseini added.


In this meeting, which was attended by our country's ambassador and consul in Riyadh and Jeddah, Mr. Alireza Enayati and Mr. Hassan Zarnagar pointed out the positive relations between two countries and said they will follow up the desired points of Hajj and Pilgrimage complex related to Iranian pilgrims in contact and discussion with political authorities of the host country so that the problems in the operation can be solved and, God willing, a good Hajj will be held.


At the meeting, taking into account that Iranian pilgrims spontaneously held memorial ceremony in the caravans to commemorate the martyred president and other martyrs of duty in order to appreciate their services and their around the clock efforts, it was clarified that Pilgrims expect that in this situation, the host country will help and cooperate more.


Referring the welcome of 22,090 pilgrims in Medina since the beginning of the Hajj operation, head of the Medina headquarters Mr. Ali Asghari said in the continuation of this meeting that 15,500 people visited Rouza al-Sharif and more than 17,200 people have done pilgrimage.



Pointing out the attendance of more than 10,000 pilgrims in Medina, he added: so far, 232,000 meals have been cooked and distributed in two central kitchens of Medina.


He described the presence of pilgrims in the Shajarah Mosque to wear Ihram and dispatching to Mecca by express train as smooth and said: The Islamic Republic of Iran is the leader in using high-speed train for caravans, and our country pilgrims are satisfied with this new service.


The meeting ended with Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi's report on health and medical services provided to Iranian pilgrims in Madina and Macca.


Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center stated that the total services provided to pilgrims so far are more than 7 thousand and added: three pilgrims in Medina and one patient in Mecca are hospitalized in Saudi hospitals to receive more treatment services, and we do not have a shortage of medicine.
