According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, head of the Iranian pilgrims, together with Seyed Abbas Hosseini, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, met with the pilgrims today, Wednesday (Khordad 9), at the residence of the special Hajj caravan of veterans at the Medina Al-Jadideh" Hotel.
In this sincere meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and Mr. Hosseini had an opportunity to talk with the veterans and their companions and sat down to talk with some of the veterans. In a part of this meeting, the veterans sang a lament in praise of Imam Hossein (AS).
Therefore, in this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said that the opportunity to visit the Holy Prophet's Shrine and Jannat al-Baqi should be taken as a prize, and he stated, "Fatigue has no meaning for the veterans, the loved ones who died in the way of Islam and the country.
Referring to the biography of the Prophet, the head of the Iranian pilgrims asked the veterans to make a pledge to take the biography of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) as a souvenir and carry it with them in the Holy Prophet's Shrine.
Emphasizing that pilgrims should be careful not to get involved in appearances when they are in the city of the Prophet, he mentioned one of the teachings of the Holy Prophet as "Mohammad Amin" of trustworthiness in the era when some people were proud of their plunder.
"Trustworthiness has many examples, and one of the main pillars of trustworthiness is the system that Imam Khomeini (RA) put on our shoulders. Also, maintaining family and health are other issues that should be considered," he added.
According to this report, in the other part of the meeting, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization listened to the questions of the veterans and while giving explanations in response to them, he reminded that this year's Hajj operation has been tried to be carried out far from welfare.
The caravan of 90 veterans and their companions are the first pilgrims of Medina who entered the Prophet's city on Monday (Khordad 7) and spent the first days of their arrival in Medina near the green dome of and the tombs of Baqi Cemetery.
The visit of the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage area to the caravan of veterans was accompanied by the speeches of some of the veterans, the words of the head of the Iranian pilgrims and the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, and taking a memorial photo.
In the special caravan of veterans who are from 12 provinces of the country, there are two female veterans and one Sunni veteran who have been sent to this spiritual journey with their companions.
According to the report, in this meeting Dr. Zahra Taherian, an expert in pathology, while thanking the services provided by the officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage, stated, "I became a veteran in Urmia at the age of 5 and now I have been fortunate enough to visit the Holy Prophet's Shrine in the form of a special convoy of veterans."
Also, Ismail Parmoz, who is one of the veterans of the spinal cord amputation during the eight years of sacred defense, expressed his gratitude for the behavior of the Hajj and Pilgrimage officials, and said, "I was injured in Qalavizan region in 1362, and now that I have come to this trip, I am very happy because considering my condition, I receive compassionate service."
