Hajj Officials Met With Representatives of Supreme Authority of Taqlid in Medina
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, who is staying in Medina, met and talked with the representatives of the offices of the Supreme Authorities of Taqlid, while attending the offices of the Mission of the Supreme Sources of Taqlid.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative and head of Iranian pilgrims, together with Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, attended the representative offices of the great authorities of Taqlid in Medina today, and met and talked with the representatives of the supreme authorities of Taqlid.
In these meetings, which were attended by several deputies and officials of the delegation of the Supreme Leader and the Chief of Staff of Medina, the representatives of the Supreme Authority of Taqlid expressed their views and opinions regarding this year's Hajj journey and the arrangements and facilities designed for Iranian caravans to visit the Land of Revelation. and praised the efforts of those involved in cultural and executive affairs to provide the ground for the presence of Iranian pilgrims in this year's Hajj.
The representatives of Taqlid authorities, who have been staying in Medina for several days, and together with the Iranian pilgrims, attended the Holy Prophet's Shrine, Jannat al-Baqi and other religious places in the city of the Prophet, referring to the behavior of the agents of the host country with the pilgrims and the changes compared to the past. They asked the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage area to discuss with the officials of the host country the issues that lead to providing better services to the pilgrims and remind them that the pilgrims of God's house are guests in this land and everyone should try to improve the performance of rituals and pilgrimage from religious places to be facilitated.
Based on this report, the Head of Iranian Pilgrims and the head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, in a conversation with the representatives of Taqlid authorities, explained the Hajj 1403 programs and some influential events in this year's Hajj and asked them to justify the pilgrims' time and place sensitivities in their inquiries and encourage them to make maximum use of the unique opportunity to be in Medina and Mecca.
Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and coordination of the offices of the representatives of the sources of imitation, and said, "It is a great honor for the servants of pilgrims to be able to serve the pilgrims of the Prophet's shrine and the infallible imams in the city of the Prophet."
The Head of Iranian Pilgrims reminded the necessity of coordination and interaction between the offices of the Mission of the great sources of imitation for better scheduling and planning to visit Medina and Mecca, and said, "The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization is ready to provide better services to the pilgrims and can communicate with pilgrims and provide their services without any worries."
The head of Iranian pilgrims also pointed out the presence of about 60,000 Iranian pilgrims in the Land of Revelation on the 8th of Tir, the day of the elections in Iran, in response to the question of several representatives of the religious offices regarding the possibility of holding presidential elections in Saudi Arabia and said, "Follow-ups have been established through the political representatives of our country in Saudi Arabia with relevant officials and authorities for coordination in this regard and are continuing."
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that the Hajj and Pilgrimage Group hopes that with the interaction and agreement of the host country, the presence of Iranian pilgrims will be provided in the hotels where they are located in Medina and Mecca, and the pilgrims have also raised this request during the visits that have been made.
He further described the process of transferring Iranian pilgrims from Medina and Jeddah airports and accommodation in hotels as appropriate, and said, "Although the arrival of pilgrims is smoother than in previous years, there are some problems that the host country is expected to resolve and Iranian pilgrims return to the country with a peaceful Hajj and a pleasant memory."
Based on this report, during the presence of Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and the accompanying delegation in the mission of Grand Ayatollah Seyed Ali Sistani, Morteza Kariminia, a researcher of Quranic topics gave explanation regarding Mashhad Razavi's Mushaf, which is the most complete manuscript collection of Quran in Hijazi script from the first century of Hijra and is 1,400 years old, and said, "This Mushaf with 252 pages is the most complete set of papers from a complete Quran from the first century of Hijra and will be presented to some scholars and researchers of the Islamic world during this trip.
In these meetings, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, pointing out that this year efforts have been made to rent more suitable hotels for the accommodation of pilgrims, gave explanations and clarified about the new measures and initiatives of this organization in various fields, including the use of young forces. "In this connection, the use of crew pilgrims, doctors and volunteer medical staff and local forces have also been considered."
He also gave explanations about the facilities provided for pilgrims in the fields of transportation and Tashriq days in Arafat, Mashar al-Haram and Mina, and stated that the length of stay of pilgrims in the Land of Revelation is between 35 and 42 days, and said, "In order to provide services to the guests of Rahman, necessary measures have been taken."
It should be noted that the head of Iranian pilgrims and the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization today met and talked separately with the representatives of the great authorities of Taqlid, His Eminence Makarem Shirazi; Nouri Hamdani; Javadi Ameli; Sistani; Vahid Khorasani; Sobhani; Shobeiri Zanjani; Seyed Kazem Haeri and Fayaz.
It should be noted that the representative offices of the great authority of Taqlid have been established in the settlement area of Iranian pilgrims near the Holy Shrine of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and are ready to answer the religious questions and issues of the pilgrims in the morning and evening.
