Demise Anniversary Ceremony of Imam Khomeini (RA) Held in Medina, Hojjat Al-Islam Spoke

According to the Hajj Information Base, in this ceremony, which was organized by the Supreme Leader's representative and on the occasion of Khordad 14, the anniversary of the passing away of the great leader of the revolution, in the meeting hall of Medina Al-Jadedeh Hotel, with the presence of pilgrims of the Prophet's Shrine, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the affairs of Hajj and Pilgrimage spoke about the position of Imamate and the role and characteristics of the architect of the Islamic Revolution.

In this ceremony, which was attended by several deputies and members of the Sunni Council of the Supreme Leader, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, while referring to the verses of the holy Qur'an, considered Imamate and leadership along the line of divine guides, and said: "God about Prophett Abraham (PBUH) says that after "we tested him, we appointed him as an Imam, which means that the capacity must be so high that the Imam confirms its right".

"The person who achieves this position must have worked on self-improvement, and Prophet Abraham reached the Imamate from the stage of prophethood after three trials.

The head of the Iranian pilgrims continued to mention the Imam of the Ummah as a unique personality of the present age that the world has never seen before.03

He described Imam Khomeini as a leader in jurisprudence, philosophy, principles, exegesis and ethics.

Referring to Imam Khomeini's role in building people, he said, "The great architect of the Islamic Revolution built great personalities and handed them over to the Islamic society."

The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs mentioned leadership and revival as one of the main roles of Imam Khomeini, and said, "The Imam of the Ummah revived the Abrahamic Hajj and he told the pilgrims to perform the Abrahamic Hajj, a Hajj that is free because God is great in the worship programs and express innocence.

He cited the magnificent holding of Friday prayers in the country, Etekaf, Arafat, the establishment of construction jihad, the relief committee for the underprivileged, the foundation of martyrs, and giving importance to scientific affairs as other actions of the Imam of the Ummah in connection with revival with religious teachings and examples.

He mentioned Imam's attention to political issues, and stated, "The country's progress in various fields of science and nanotechnology is due to the self-confidence that Imam strengthened in Iranian society and expanded with the slogan 'we can'."

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab while referring to the narration "He who is knowledgeable and familiar with his time, doubts will not attack him", pointed to Imam Khomeini's insight into the events of the time and his future vision and the letter.

He considered Gorbachev and the destruction of communism to be the result of Imam's accuracy and breadth of view on international issues and affairs.

Referring to the initiative of declaring World Qods Day in support of the Palestine issue, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that since the Imam of the Ummah announced this day, its scope has expanded day by day until today.

"As the Supreme Leader has said the Zionist is in a dead end, which will lead to his destruction," he added.

He considered the revival of innocence from polytheists and paying attention to the spiritual aspect and performing Hajj correctly as the recommendations of the Imam of the Ummah, and said, "The Imam mentions the pilgrims as ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasizes that they observe and fulfill these things." "The imam emphasizes that the Muslims attending the Hajj should know that the main enemy of Islam, the Quran and their great Prophet is global arrogance and the child-killing Zionist regime, which is plotting to divide Muslims."

The head of the Iranian pilgrims emphasized that Imam Khomeini calls Muslims to unity of the word and considers the profit of the difference of words in the Hajj to be in the pockets of the enemies. "Late Imam recommended peace and avoiding violence."

He mentioned politeness and good manners, adherence to the first time prayer, familiarity with the Qur'an, reciting supplications, especially the complete supplications and the prayers of Shabaniyeh, among the other characteristics of the Imam of the Ummah and said, "Late Imam had courage, modesty, and lived a very simple life."

"Imam had a hopeful and tireless spirit, his trust was in God, he continued to evolve and grow, and in addition to caring for his people, he was calm in the difficult times of struggle on the way to fulfilling his divine duty and invited others to calm down," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added..

Dr. Majid Bidarmaghz and Dr. Mohammad Khosravi were the other speakers of this ceremony who spoke about the distinguished personality of Imam Khomeini (RA) and mentioned him as an enduring figure in the history of mankind.

Also, Haj Amir Arif's eulogy and lamentation in commemoration of Imam Rahal gave a sad atmosphere to this ceremony and pilgrims who agreed with this remembrance honored the memory of the Imam.

"Tawheed" and "unity" are two effective elements in the movement of Imam Khomeini (RA)

According to this report, at the "Manazel al-Zahra" hotel's meeting, which was held at the same time as the demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini's (RA) with the presence of Hajj pilgrims in Medina, Hojjat al-Islam Hamidreza Mahdavi Arfa, the speaker of the mission of the Supreme Leader while referring to the verses of Surah Fazlat mentioned "Tawheed" and "Unity" as two effective elements in the movement of Imam Khomeini (RA), and said, "He persevered in the way of God like our infallible prophets and imams."

He continued that when Prophet Abraham (PBUH) fought against idolatry and was thrown into the fire, he was only 16 years old, but he stood before God. Imam Khomeini (RA) did not rely on anyone except God throughout his life.

Speaker of the Supreme Leader's representative office pointed out that Imam Khomeini never feared anything except God in his entire blessed life, and said, "The Imam revived the divine verses for us with his life and God gave him the honor that when he returned to the country or to visit God Millions of people rushed to welcome and see him off."

Expressing the country's crises, including war and embargo, he said, "Imam Khomeini (RA) wrote to world leaders about the spread of Islam. The Imam had given his province to God, and because of this, the opponents of Islam fell, and honor remained for Islam and our country."

Hojjat al-Islam Mahdavi Arfa addressed the pilgrims of God's House, and said, "Tawaf is a sign to make a covenant with God, to say, Our Lord is only God. People whose hearts are with God will not be afraid of anything. We should learn from the Imam and the martyrs and use the opportunity to be in the land of revelation to increase our knowledge about the Qur'an and Nahj al-Balagha."

This program was accompanied by the recitation of verses from Surah Al-Fazlat by the distinguished reciter of our country, Mohammad Reza Akbari, and the eulogy of Haj Hossein Hoshyar in praise of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA).
