Head of the Iranian pilgrims visits central kitchen of Mecca
Hojjat al-Islam Seyed AbdulFattah Navvab, yesterday morning (Khordad 20) visited the central kitchen of Mecca known as "Abu sarhad" and was informed about the process of preparing and distributing pilgrims' food in this complex.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and chairman of hajj and pilgrimage organization seyed abbas hosseini visited one of the central kitchens of Mecca "Abu sarhad" and were informed about the activities of this center, including food preparation and cooking, and various parts of this kitchen, including storage, cold storage, etc.
Upon entering this kitchen, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab was welcomed by Nasser Abu Sarhad, the owner of this center. He welcomed head of the Iranian pilgrims with Arabic coffee according to the traditional hospitality of the Arabs.
Further, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs visited vegetable and meat cold storages, kitchens and cooking halls, central warehouse, etc. and said and wished emplouees good health and increasing success in serving pilgrims.
During this visit, the Iranian manager of the Central Kitchen of Mecca Rahim Ghoroori gave explanations about the activities of its various departments, including preparation of food ingredients and cooking pilgrims' food. He also emphasized: in this kitchen, the cooking process is done with utmost respect for health issues and with the best quality.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab then said in a short speech to the staff of this kitchen: Serving the pilgrims of the House of God is a valuable act, because your efforts increase the strength and energy of the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram for Tawaf, prayers, finishing the Quran and remembrance of God.
The fact that you have been chosen to serve the pilgrims is the result of your parents’ prayers because tens of thousands of people wish to serve the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram in the Land of Revelation, he added.
Further, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs considered the equipment of this kitchen as modern and said: in addition providing high quality food to pilgrims, try to increase work efficiency and appreciate your responsibility and work.
Strive for the future and promotion of work and have innovation and initiative in this field and try to have more influence in the cycle. Collaborate for more optimization and find more efficient solutions and leave a memory of yourself in the land of revelation, he said.
One of the pilgrims' rights is to be informed about the services provided to them, and if pilgrims learn about the process of cooking and distributing food, they will definitely be more satisfied, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized.
Head of the Iranian pilgrims also thanked the owner of this kitchen for cooperating with the servants of pilgrims and providing the basis for localization of this center equipment.
Stating that the "Abu sarhad" complex aims to provide the best services to the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram with a completely hygienic approach, systematic changes and localization of devices, the Iranian manager of the Central Kitchen of Mecca Rahim Ghoroori said: this center is prepared to provide food with the best quality for pilgrim.
Morad Abu Sarhad, one of the owners of the kitchen, considered it an honor to serve the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram and said: we are ready to serve pilgrims during the days of Tashriq.
