Hojjat Al-Islam Navvab: Focusing on Ummah Is One of Important Teachings of Prophet Abraham's Character

According to the Hajj Information Base, the "Hajj in the eyes of the leadership" conference for the elite and the educated in the men's section was held on Monday evening (Khordad 21), under the initiative of the Cultural Deputy of the Supreme Leader's Mission and with the presence of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and also head of Iranian pilgrims in the meeting hall of "Al Balad Al Tayeb" hotel in Mecca.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, while speaking at this conference pointed out the axes of the Supreme Leader's statements in the meeting with the agents of Hajj 1403, and said, "The Supreme Leader emphasized the mention and remembrance of God in the Land of Revelation, the explanation of lessons from Abrahamic character and the unity-oriented innocence in Hajj."

Pointing out that if the acquittal leads to schism, it destroys unity, he said: "Allah, the Most High, in verse 4 of Surah Momtahanah, is certainly good for you in [following] Abraham and those who are with him as the best example", Prophet Abraham (PBUH) as a role model.

The head of the Iranian pilgrims, referring to the phrase "Alazin Ma'ah" in this verse, said: God Almighty points out that companions and companions play an important role in achieving the results of commands and policies, as in verse 29 of Surah Fath says Mohammad (PBUH) is the prophet of God and those who are with him are strict with the disbelievers (and) are kind to each other" emphasizes the important role of companions and companions of the Prophet (PBUH).

He further considered focusing on Ummah as one of the precious teachings and lessons of the character of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) and said: Ibrahim Khalilullah established the believing community and the Islamic community in the form of Imamate and Ummah, as stated in verse 24 of Surah Al-Baqarah, he says to him God said, I made you the leader of the people.

The head of the Iranian pilgrims said that God Almighty mentions Prophet Abraham (pbuh) as an obedient leader and him as an ummah, and in this regard, in verse 120 of Surah Nahl, he says that indeed Abraham was an obedient leader of God [and] righteous.

He further refers to verse 128 of Surah Al-Baqarah, which says, "O Lord, make us submit to your [order] and show us your obedient nation from our generation and show us our religious customs" and said: Prophet Abraham (PBUH) prayed for his generation in this verse, and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) considered himself the answerer of Abraham's prayers."

The leader of the Iranian pilgrims went on to point out that the Islamic society finds consistency with the Hajj and said: God Almighty says in verse 97 of Surah Ma'idah that God has made the [pilgrimage] of Kaaba Bayt Al-Haram a means of bringing people to their feet, so even if there is no Hajj, the Islamic State has the duty to provide the grounds for the Hajj ceremony from Baitul Mal.

He added that the spiritual duty of Hajj is an international worship that plays an important role in social relations and interactions.

In another part of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed to the personality aspects of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) and said that Prophet Abraham was the founder of compassion in the community, and in order for prayers to be held, he left his young wife and child alone in this desert.

"Prophet Abraham was patient and the first person who fought with a sword and saved Prophet Lute (PBUH) who was captured by the Romans. Prophet Abraham was the first person to receive guests and perform the Hajj rituals that he learned from Hazrat Gabriel. He was the first person who migrated in the way of God, and he was the first prophet for whom God raised the dead, and he was the first person who created shoes and divided the booty," he added.

He said that Ibrahim Khalilallah was the first person who carried out God's order and sacrificed in the way of God, as stated in verse 102 of Surah "Safat" and when he reached the place of Sa'i with him, he said, "O my son, I am in a dream." ] I see that I am going to kill you, so see what you think, he said, "O my father, do whatever you want, God willing, you will find me among the patient."

In the final part of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed to the issue of innocence in this year's Hajj ceremony, which is emphasized by the Supreme Leader, and said, "This year, there are more restrictions than in previous years from the host country, while Iranians are law-abiding and they do not seek to disturb the order of this country."

"If there is an expedient in the field of acquittal, it is only for the sanctity of the pilgrim who can perform his Hajj in complete peace and away from tension," he added.

In the end, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed to the issue of holding presidential elections and said that preparations have been made and negotiations have been done with the officials of the host country, because these national elections are important for us, "we are persistent Get the approval of the relevant authorities".

It should be noted that Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Hossein Ruknuddini, the cultural deputy of the Supreme Leader's delegation, also presented a report at the beginning of this conference and said: The call for articles for this conference started at the beginning of this year and at the same time as the Hajj operation, and in the men's section of this in the conference, 65 papers were presented, of which 4 papers were selected for presentation.

He added that in the women's section, which was held yesterday (Khordad 20), 85 articles were sent to the secretariat of the conference, and finally 5 articles were selected and presented by educated women.

In this conference, 4 men named Hamed Fathaliani, Seyed Ali Alavi, Abbas Moqtadaei and Mohsen Pakparvar presented their articles on the topic of "Worldly and Hereafter Benefits of Hajj", "Consistency of the Islamic Society in the Shadow of Hajj and Kaaba Sharif", "Review They presented the necessity of unity among Islamic religions in order to create a great Islamic civilization by emphasizing the duty of Hajj and "the interaction of the Muslim Ummah in Hajj, a factor in strengthening the social dimension of Muslims".
