Head of Iran's Hajj Organization: In Meeting With Saudi Hajj Minister All Issues Were Discussed

In the last meeting of the planning and coordination council of the Supreme Leader's representative and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization before the days of Tashreeq in Mecca, the head of Iran's Hajj Organization while announcing the readiness of all departments to welcome pilgrims in the sacred ceremonies, emphasized that in the meeting with the Minister of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia, all matters, including the holding of programs in Mashaer and return airline flights, have been discussed.

According to the Hajj Information Base, in this meeting that was held on Wednesday (Khordad 23) under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab in Mecca, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization added that necessary measures have been taken in all departments and the recommendations has been transferred.


In the continuation of this meeting, Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei, Hajj and Umrah Deputy Director of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, by referring to his successive visits to holy places in recent days, emphasized the preparations to welcome Iranian pilgrims during the days of Tashriq.


Referring to the fact that 100% of the quota allocated for Hajj 1403 was received by the Islamic Republic of Iran, he added that a total of 200 people refused to travel due to various reasons, and until the second of Dhul-Hijjah, visas were issued for cases that were canceled and re-applied.


Mr. Rezaei said that with the end of departure flights, all the pilgrims have settled in Mecca and only a limited number of agents are in Medina who will join the pilgrims tonight near Baitullah Al-Haram.


In the continuation of this meeting, the Supreme Leader's representative Hajj and Pilgrimage made recommendations regarding the time and manner of transporting the pilgrims to the sacred shrines and presence in the Arafat desert and the land of Mina, and on the need for greater coordination and interaction with the authorities of the host country in relation to the time. He emphasized the movement of Iranian pilgrims to Ramy Jamarat due to the distance of pilgrims' tents from Jamarat.


This report indicates that this meeting is based on the report of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Hossein Roknuddini, the cultural deputy of the Supreme Leader's Mission and Seyed Ali Marashi, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization's Medical Center, regarding the cultural programs of the caravans in the holy shrines and the planned facilities for providing medical services to Pilgrims continued in Arafat and Mina.


Iranian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alireza Enayati, said, "We are trying to make Hajj successful, safe, peaceful and acceptable for the pilgrims in coordination with the host country, and we can increase the facilities by working together. and remove the obstacles so that the pilgrims can perform their duties and return to the country safely and safely."


According to this report, at the beginning of this meeting, which was attended by Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hosseini Bushehri, the deputy head of Iranian pilgrims in Medina, as well as the deputies and officials of the Hajj Organization and Supreme Leader's representative office, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab made a speech referring to some actions of the host country. He advised the relevant authorities to avoid provocative and insulting behavior in programs where 100% Iranian pilgrims are present.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized: "We follow the laws and guidelines of the host country and we expect the hosts to behave in a way that we can manage the pilgrims."


"We have tried to cooperate and the host should avoid some actions that are considered as insulting to pilgrims. A pilgrim has come to this land to perform his Hajj rituals, visit and pray, and perform his deeds and return to his country with an acceptable Hajj. Of course, compliments, empathy, and being concerned about other Muslims are among the benefits of the international Hajj philosophy," he added.
