Holding Meetings to Coordinate Transfer of Sunni Pilgrims to Holy Places
Meetings to coordinate the transfer of Sunni pilgrims to holy shrines were held in the presence of members of the Sunni Management Council and officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Mecca.
According to the Hajj Information Base, several coordination meetings have been held so far between the members of the Ahl al-Sunna Management Council of the Ahl al-Sunna Mission, the head, the Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and other relevant officials.
The last meeting was attended by Maulvi Mohammad Ishaq Madani, the head of the Ahl al-Sunni Management Council, and Molavi Goldi Kamali and Sheikh Khalil Afra, members of this council, as well as Gholamreza Rezaei, the Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization on the eve of the days of Tashreeq and the departure of the pilgrims in Mecca.
In this meeting, how to send the Sunni pilgrims to Mina on the day of Taraweeh (8th of Dhul-Hijjah), transfer them to Arafat and Mashaer al-Haram and then Mina, taking into account the jurisprudence of the two schools of Shafi'i and Hanafi, were discussed and the necessary decisions were made.
The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization emphasized the readiness to plan for the transfer of Sunni pilgrims to the Holy Mass during the days of Tashreeq according to the fatwas of scholars of both the Hanafi and Shafi'i schools of thought. It was also stated that the leaders and clerics of the caravans are obliged to prepare the list of pilgrims, excused and disabled people and submit it to the Mecca headquarters.
It is worth mentioning that the attention given to the opinions of the members of the Ahl al-Sunni Council by the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization has brought the satisfaction and happiness of the Sunni pilgrims and is a symbol of the practical unity of Muslims in the huge Hajj gathering.
