Head of Iranian Pilgrims Meets Representatives of Taqlid Authorities in Mecca
The representatives and members of the delegations of the Supreme Leaders in Hajj 1403 met with the head of the Iranian pilgrims and the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
According to the Hajj Information Base, in this meeting which was attended by a group of deputies and directors of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the Supreme Leader's mission and the Ambassador of our country to Saudi Arabia, Hojjat al-Salam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab while referring to the coincidence of the unfortunate incident of the martyrdom of the late Iranian president and other martyrs of service with Hajj listed some of the actions of the host country that were unprecedented in any of the past Hajj seasons.
"For the first time in the history of Hajj, six of the servants returned the pilgrims, and then some arrests took place and they took the pilgrims and left them near Jeddah. They did, while all these people had permission and entered this country with a Hajj visa," he added.
Referring to the calls and follow-ups made for the release of an Iranian pilgrim who is detained in Medina, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs said, "Although we have observed the frameworks in this country and we are trying to have full cooperation, but the conditions It is a very difficult situation."
He further pointed out that the number of deaths this year is ten people less than the same period last year, and stated that three pilgrims have died so far, which indicates that the tests and examinations of pilgrims have been done at a better level.
"This action has had a good effect in the field of treatment, in addition to interviewing for the selection of convoy chaplains and providing training, and attention has also been paid to youth in connection with the convoy forces," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
He further said that the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the Supreme Leader's representative and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center are trying to ensure that the Hajj ends peacefully and that the pilgrims benefit from the spiritual atmosphere of this land and that the pilgrims return to the country in good health.
The head of Iranian pilgrims also pointed out that the problems caused by the sanctions in transferring currency and not accompanying the relevant bank in the host country in time to deposit the Hajj currency into the account of the representative office of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Saudi Arabia, and said, "For this reason, 12,000 beds in Mecca, which "we had contracted to rent, was lost, and now we have problems in the aviation sector that we hope will be resolved".
