Head of Iranian Pilgrims: Holding Elections Is A Great Privilege for Host country
Referring to the presence of Iranian pilgrims during Hajj in the host country (Saudi Arabia), the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs said that holding elections in the land of revelation can be an innovation.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, in a meeting with the forces sent to Medina while referring to the return of some of the Hajj pilgrims to Medina, said that the work of Medina is very difficult, why? The pilgrims of the previous Medina are hopeful and the hardships of the journey have not come to them yet, but the pilgrims of the after Medina have different conditions. Therefore, we should understand the opportunity of the pilgrims' presence in the next Medina well and more attractively, because each of the pilgrims is an ambassador when they return to the country and evaluates the conditions and services.
In this meeting, which was attended by Ayatollah Seyed Hashem Hosseini Bushehri, the deputy head of Iranian pilgrims in Medina, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab reminded the necessity of alerting the pilgrims during the Hajj journey and stated that if this work is not done well, the pilgrim will be punished for his journey. "If we do not understand and be alert, he may return to the country as a creditor or ungrateful. It also oversees the performance of the executive departments and enriches pilgrims' free time with cultural work."
The head of Iranian pilgrims said that in the next Medina, the number of pilgrims is not much less than in the previous Medina, and the pilgrims should be given more attention and more time should be given to the pilgrims with the intention of working for God, because some pilgrims think that they did not receive good services.
"I had many face-to-face interactions with the pilgrims and they were critical, but when we listened to them and paid attention to them and talked about the facts, they thanked us and even in Mina because of the limited space that There were a number of tents dedicated to daily work, we prepared some pilgrims to rest, and this made them thank," he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said that "our existential philosophy in the Hajj program is pilgrims, and when pilgrims are present, I have to serve them, that's why we have put on service clothes to provide more services" to them. "In this context, Ayatollah Bushehri is kind to us with all his concerns and plans in Iran, and now "he will serve the pilgrims of God's House in Medina as a successor.
Emphasizing the principle that "our interaction and behavior in the issue of elections is the same as that of the Supreme Leader, he stated that despite the shortcomings and the manner of interaction of some officials of the host country, we should invest in the issue of elections. "Therefore, the word is one word, and that will be 100% participation in the elections, and we, as the servants of God, should not support a particular candidate and keep in mind the guidelines of the Supreme Leader."
Stating that holding elections in the Land of Revelation can be an innovation, the head of Iranian pilgrims said that holding elections is a great privilege for the host country. "Because during those days, more than 55,000 pilgrims are present in Mecca and more than 10,000 other pilgrims are present in Medina. The preparations for holding elections are now ready if the authorities of the host country agree. If this matter is investigated, it will be beneficial for both countries and it will indicate a positive interaction with the neighboring country.
In the end, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab reminded that one of the differences in the next Medina is the presence of 96 Sunni caravans and the special programs of these pilgrims should be well followed.
In the continuation of this meeting, Ayatollah Bushehri, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs in Medina, told a story from Imam Hossein (AS) about meeting the needs of the people and stated: "Everyone in his place is at the center of people's needs and according to Imam Hossein (AS) we should consider people's request as a blessing from God's blessings towards us and we should not feel tired of facing people's requests and we should listen to them in the best way because if we feel tired, God will this blessing from us."
He continued that the servants of Hajj and pilgrimage should untie the work of the guests of God, and thank God, what "I have witnessed in these days" is the rule of an intimate atmosphere, and meetings are held regularly and properly to meet the needs of the pilgrims. "And blessed are the pilgrims of Medina who visit the shrine of the Prophet (PBUH) after Hajj."
At the end of this meeting, some of the forces sent to Medina later presented a report and reminded that all the meetings and programs will be held in the time frame of the pilgrims' presence in the Prophet's city, and despite the difficulties and hardships of this year's Hajj, things have gone smoothly so far. "It has good coherence and the measures have been fruitful."
