Emphasis at the meeting of Hajj and pilgrimage officials after the end of Hajj operation;

While appreciating the services of host country, we call for resolving the annoying problems, head of the Iranian pilgrims emphasized in the gathering of Hajj and Pilgrimage officials in Mecca.

According to the Hajj information base, at the end of the days of Tashriq and Hajj 1403, the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of hajj and pilgrimage organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office was held in Mecca under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed AbdulFattah Navvab.


At the meeting, which was attended by head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and a number of deputies and managers of Hajj organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs while appreciating the services of host country and enumerating some deficiencies in Hajj 1403, said: We hope these deficiencies be resolved faster.


Head of the Iranian pilgrims asked the members of negotiating team with the servants of pilgrims in the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to follow up on the issue of allocating the right time for dispatching Iranian pilgrims' caravans to Jamrat because the tents of Iranian pilgrims are located in the east and Jamrat is located in the west of Mena. It is not suitable to dispatch pilgrims from 10 am in the hot weather on this long route.


Pointing out that the pilgrims are upset about going back and forth on this long route due to the heat weather and lack of shade, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added: last year, one pilgrim died on the way back and this year, several people were lost. If the host help, will definitely bring more thanks.


Express gratitude to all the organizations and cooperating bodies in the field of Hajj and the special and useful support of the Martyred President, head of the Iranian Pilgrims went on to said: with the help of Almighty God, this year's Hajj held well in general.


As the servant of the pilgrims of the House of God, first of all I appreciate and thank Supreme Leader for calling this year's Hajj for acquittal and with this action, he breathed a new spirit into the body of Hajj so that this year's Hajj was special in the matter of acquittal and in addition to Supreme Leader Delegation Office tent, it was also held in other tents of Iranian pilgrims, he added.


In the continuation of this meeting, the Consul General of our country in Jeddah Mr. Hassan Zarnegar, pointed out the follow-ups carried out in the field of Hajj, some behavior of Saudi agents with Iranian pilgrims, holding presidential elections, etc. and said: Hajj had positive and negative points, but nevertheless Hajj was acceptable, healthy and to the satisfaction of the pilgrims and those involved, which was realized with the guidance of head of the Iranian pilgrims and cooperation and coordination of hajj and pilgrimage organization and headquarters of Hajj and Supreme Leader Mission.


In the continuation of the meeting, the report of Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei, the operations manager of Hajj 1403, was presented regarding the planning for the return of pilgrims to country and departure of "Medina after" pilgrims from Mecca.


Stating that about 17000 pilgrims will return to the country in transit from Medina, he added 34,162 pilgrims will return to Iran from Jeddah airport and after the end of transit flights, 35,970 pilgrims will return to the country through Medina airport.


He mentioned the date of the last flights from Medina and Jeddah as 7th and 8th Muharram, respectively.


Stating that during the days of Tashriq due to the extreme heat, appropriate measures were taken to provide medical and health services to the pilgrims, Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center Dr. Ali Marashi referring the number of deaths in some countries during these days, said: unfortunately during these days, 6 Iranian pilgrims also died.


Considering the completion of patients' capacity in Mecca hospital and 14 patients in Saudi hospitals, we are trying to transfer sick pilgrims to Iran by the first flights, he added.
