Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs advice to IRIB;
Invest to use the capacity of journalist pilgrims
In a meeting with IRIB delegation to Saudi Arabia, head of the Iranian pilgrims pointed out the role of media in quick and appropriate reflect of Hajj news and considering the developments in information and content production, advised them pay more attention in using journalistic pilgrims.
According to the Hajj information base, stating that referring to the national media to get information is of interest to the people, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab added: more information and investment is necessary to use the very high capacity of journalist pilgrims.
Stating that in this year's Hajj, about 130 pilgrims who are among the medical staff and doctors have declared their readiness for volunteer cooperation with the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center, head of Iranian Pilgrims said: a large number of pilgrims are motivated to come to your aid as a journalist pilgrim. Identify and attract people who have the background of work in this profession by planning and holding training courses. Use them at different intervals from the beginning to the end of the Hajj operation to produce various reports.
He gave recommendations on covering various ceremonies and programs of Supreme Leader's mission during the Hajj season, especially the days of Tashriq, and considered the reports about activities during this year's Hajj as good and gratifying.
Head of the Iranian pilgrims went on to say that the action of host country in returning six members of radio and television personnel, despite being introduced to the relevant authorities for activities in the Hajj season, was contrary to interaction and trust-building and said: this way of dealing is not in line with religious teachings.
In another part of his speech, Head of the Iranian Pilgrims stated that Iran and Saudi Arabia are two big Muslim countries and Hajj as a religious program and one of the Ancillaries of the Faith hold in this country.
Dealings with some pilgrims seem to be from low-ranking people and those who are responsible in this country do not agree with this type of behavior. Our goal is that the Islamic society to use the products that are made, he added.
Pointing to an example, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs mentioned being one-handed in Hajj as one of the lessons of this spiritual journey and said: Supreme Leader also has emphasizes on simplicity and coexistence as lessons of Hajj.
