Scientific Meeting of Educated Sunni Pilgrims Held in Mecca

According to the Hajj Information Base, in the scientific conference of Sunni pilgrims, which was attended by Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, members of the Afta Council and educated Sunnis, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab thanked the researchers who presented articles in this scientific conference and made it clear that the content presented in these articles has an acceptable level and it is intended to be published as articles of the 1403 Hajj meeting.
The head of Iranian pilgrims thanked all the people who contributed to the development of the Islamic society and clerics by presenting these articles and requested that in the future periods based on the slogan of Hajj, which this year is "Hajj; The central Quran, empathy, the authority of the Islamic Ummah and the defense of the oppressed Palestine" were to be addressed in more specific and detailed topics and articles and the work of writing articles in a more precise and scientific manner should be done by researchers.
Stating that in this year's Hajj slogan, each title can be a separate article, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs pointed out the themes of the Supreme Leader's meeting with the Hajj agents and invited the participants to consider the scientific coverage of these themes.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab clarified that Hajj has many messages that pilgrims announce to visitors when they return from their trip, and one should avoid looking at Hajj superficially. Performing congregational prayers, fasting, helping and worshiping are examples of activities performed by pilgrims and can be part of the messages.
Emphasizing sincerity and avoiding hypocrisy in the speech of pilgrims, he recommended that pilgrims should strengthen intellectual growth and create hope in interaction with others and not have false attraction or repulsion when returning to their homeland.
The head of the Iranian pilgrims, commemorating the anniversary of the 7th Tir martyrs and the chemical bombing of Sardasht and the 40th martyrs of service, advised the audience to read the messages of the Prophet of Mercy at the beginning of the mission who said “Say there is no god but Allah and you will succeed” and the last message he said in Hajj which was “People, perform the Hajj to the House with perfect religion and understanding, and do not turn away from the sights except with repentance and abstinence.” And also pay attention to the study of Nahj al-Balagha, because the teachings of this book are useful for everyone, for example, in the 31st letter of Imam Ali (AS), this letter was written in 16 pages for Hazrat Mojtaba (AS) in the area of ​​Safin war, which is a guidance of his father. It is to his son, and letter 53 to Malik Ashtar, known as the covenant, in which management and brokerage characteristics are stated.

In another part of this conference, Sheikh Khalil Afra, one of the members of the academic board of the Sunni conference, said that holding such conferences will improve the scientific and cultural level of society and pilgrims.
He said that the call for this conference was published on March 20, 2024, and after judging 58 received papers, 9 papers were ranked.
Referring to Islamic Iran's efforts to create unity and empathy, he expressed hope that the number of participants will increase in the next calls and these articles will be translated into other languages.
According to this report, Maulvi Mohammad Is'haq Madani, the head of the Ahl al-Sunnat Afta Council and the head of the Supreme Council of the World Assembly of the Approximation of Other Religions, was the speaker of the conference, who praised the organizers for addressing the issue of science.
Pointing out that with the victory of the Islamic Revolution, disadvantaged people, including him, who came from a deprived family and a faraway region, grew up, he clarified: The approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran system is to pay equal attention to all compatriots and enemies are in a row and they are doing harm.
He continued that due to the victory of the Islamic Revolution, many great achievements have been achieved in various sectors.
In the other part of this conference, "Akhundullah Qoli Tomaj", "Maulvi Ibrahim Javani", "Moein Vahedi" and "Mamusta Mohammad Siddiq Eslami" presented their articles about Hajj and Islamic unity and Palestine.
Also Abdullah Mariya, Allah Qoli Tomaj, Agh Oiqli Arkhi, Mohammad Jafarenjad, Mohammad Sediq Hesami, Alireza Yaqoubi, Ebrahim Javani, Mahin Vahedi, Naima Parand Oji, Ebrahim Ebrahimi, Masoud Eslami, Noor Ahmad Ramezani, Jassim Hadroud, Abdul Ghafar Akhund Niktabar were honored as the best writer and at the end, the services and scientific activities of Maulavi Mohammad Ishaq Madani were honored.
