Hojjat Al-Islam Navvab Appreciates Enthusiastic Presence of Iranian Pilgrims at Ballot Boxes

According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat ​​al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, who was speaking at the meeting of the executive board of the Islamic Republic of Iran's presidential election in Saudi Arabia, also expressed his gratitude to the officials of the host country for accompanying the election in the hotels where Iranian pilgrims are staying and added, "This memory It will remain in the minds of Iranian pilgrims and they will always remember that year they participated in the presidential elections and voted."

In this meeting, which was attended by the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and several deputies of this organization and the delegation of the Supreme Leader, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab mentioned Iran and Saudi Arabia as two neighboring countries, important and influential at the regional and international level and said, "These two countries have shared each other's joys and sorrows."

The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs continued to remind about the hardships and joys of Hajj and considered the martyrdom of service martyrs as the most important hardship of this year's Hajj and pointed to the effective and decisive role of martyred President and foreign minister in supporting Hajj programs.

"These loved ones played a leading role in the work of Hajj and Pilgrimage, and their martyrdom created some shortcomings in this year's Hajj programs, but we are happy that God's blessings continued to fulfill what needed to be done," he added.

The head of Iranian pilgrims said that holding such elections in all countries involves hard work for the officials, and also pointed to the gathering of pilgrims' votes on a large scale in different provinces of Iraq, Kurdistan region and pilgrimage cities.

At the end of his speech, he praised Iran's consul general and all the people who actively participated in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage in holding the presidential election and said: To all the people in every field, including the people who are in the executive board, heads of funds and protection who played a role or were supervisors of the Guardian Council in the polling stations, "we appreciate it and we ask God to make bright days with honor and authority for the nation of Iran by holding these elections, and to ease the people's grief from the martyrdom of the service martyrs". 

He emphasized that the Supreme Leader, as the wise leader of this revolution, guides and manages all issues with determination and patience and God's favors.

According to this report, after this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab visited the place where the ballot boxes are collected and kept and said God's strength to those involved.

In this visit, he pointed out that the pilgrims were very happy after being informed about the elections, and called the presence of pilgrims at the voting booths enthusiastic and widespread.

"The people involved quickly prepared the ground for holding the elections with all-out efforts and made a great action that brought joy back to the sad hearts of the pilgrims and expressed their satisfaction," he added.

The representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also visited four voting branches in the hotels where Sunni and Shiite pilgrims of our country are staying in different parts of Mecca together with the head and some of the deputies and officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization on Friday evening.

In a conversation with the officials and workers of these branches and the pilgrims who came to vote, he was informed about the voting process.

In this visit, all the pilgrims and fund managers expressed their satisfaction and satisfaction with the selection process and the efforts and pursuits of the head of Iranian pilgrims, the officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the political representatives of Iran in Saudi Arabia in order to make this national epic happen.
