Veterans of Hajj and Pilgrimage Honored in Mecca
The honoring ceremony for "Veterans of Hajj and Pilgrimage" was held in Mecca with the presence of the Supreme Leader's representative and head of Iranian pilgrims and the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
According to the Hajj Information Base, in this ceremony, more than 40 veterans of the field of Hajj and pilgrimage, whose period of service to the guests and pilgrims has ended, were honored with certificates of appreciation and awards.
Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab today, in the gathering of dozens of veterans, executive agents and servants of Hajj and Pilgrimage in Mecca, considered serving the Hajj pilgrims and the title of servant of the guests of God to be an honor that should be grateful to God.
"We ask God to give us the ability to preserve and maintain what he has given us in this land," he added.
In this ceremony, the head of the Iranian pilgrims praised the services, efforts and efforts of those present during their lifetime in the service of God, and referring to verse 83 of Surah Qessas, he said: "The end; It is a good name and a good fate for the pious, and Sarai Javid is one of those who seek superiority in the land and are not corrupt people."
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that there are different degrees of corruption, and considered the child-killing regime of Israel and the United States to be drowning in corruption and oppression.
He pointed to the examples of pious people citing the narrations and addressed the audience: "You have come on this journey despite all the hardships for the love of serving the pilgrims of the house of God, and among you there are even those who have come as pilgrims and are in others' service."
"It is a good outcome for a person to remove the problems of the Hajj pilgrim from his face with good service," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
He then referred to two narrations from Imam Ali and Imam Kazem (AS) about benevolence and good behavior and avoiding bad treatment of others and advised the attendees to plan for each day of the pilgrims' presence in the Land of Revelation in order to Get the most spiritual benefit from this trip.
The head of Iranian pilgrims emphasized that it is very important how a person starts the work, but it is much more important how he ends it. "The truth of happiness is that a person acts in such a way that the work ends with good fortune."
He then referred to a phrase from Nahj al-Balaghah about the good destiny and also the story of Zubair, the cousin of the Prophet, and said: "Zubair could have been listed among the martyrs of Islam, but his son Abdullah was not, so a person should be careful and pay enough attention to the upbringing of his children."
Hojjatul Islam Navvab stated that you have served the pilgrims and the organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage during your youth, middle age and part of your adulthood, and added: "You can serve more than this, form working groups and write about your experiences. Transfer to others."
"Serve pilgrims wherever you can and continue to serve others as long as possible," he added.
In the continuation of this conference, three veterans of the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage expressed their memories during decades of service to the pilgrims of the House of God, and then Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, gave a speech honoring the veterans of this field.
He considered it the continuation of their journey and called the presence of dozens of caravan managers and agents in this ceremony the result of empathy between the old and the new generation.
The head of the Hajj organization considered the presence of a group of veterans in the field of Hajj and pilgrimage as pilgrims and accompanying the caravans to be effective in the peace of this year's Hajj and said: "You were lovingly on the way to serve the guests of Rahman, this presence should be appreciated and in various programs including It used reminiscence, cultural and performance, as well as transfer of experiences."
Addressing the managers of the complex and the caravans, he said: "With the help of your seniors, explain the space and conditions of the previous decades to the pilgrims, so that they can evaluate the services of the past and the services that are provided today and find out about the pilgrimage in the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the end, he presented statistics on the measures taken regarding rejuvenation in the agency, management and force of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and emphasized that until the end of the Hajj operation, service to the pilgrims will not be forgotten, so that the Hajj will end without injury, smoothly and peacefully, and the last pilgrims return to the country safely.
