Departure of Over Half of Iranian Pilgrims From Land of Revelation
At the meeting of the Supreme Leader's Mission Planning Council and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization it was announced that so far more than fifty percent of Iranian pilgrims have returned to the Islamic homeland.
According to Hajj Information Base, in this meeting that was held today under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab in Mecca, the Deputy of Hajj and Umrah of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced this and added that in order to fill the leisure time of pilgrims with the cooperation of different departments, various activities such as visits to religious and historical places, cultural programs inside the caravans, visits to central kitchens, etc. are being carried out and have resulted in the satisfaction of the pilgrims.
Gholamreza Rezaei also reported on measures and plans made to start the Umrah operation in the coming months, and the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs asked him and other people involved in this area to coordinate with the airline and provide the necessary grounds. In various departments, including cultural, accommodation, nutrition, healthcare and transportation, inform about the planning of Umrah operations at the right time.
"About six million people are waiting in line for Umrah trips to visit the land of revelation, and it is necessary to design various packages according to the tastes and expectations of the pilgrims," he added.
The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also said that in this regard, the duration of the trip during normal days and special occasions, as well as the addition of the schedule for visiting historical and religious places, is being considered and is being evaluated for finalization.
In the continuation of this meeting, according to the presence of various working groups of Hajj operation in the host country, regarding the preparations related to Hajj 1404, the head of Iranian pilgrims gave recommendations to the executive and medical officials, and regarding the Arbaeen journey, he also emphasized that the vice-president of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization should carry out the necessary actions and information within the framework of its duties and responsibilities.
In this connection, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also mentioned the beginning of the registration of Arbaeen pilgrims in the Sama system from the second half of Tir and said that three insurance packages with the limit of the insurance company's obligations have been defined for the pilgrims which is necessary.
In the continuation of this meeting, the Consul General of Iran in Jeddah reported on the arrangements made with the interior to send the necessary supplies and the host country in line with the holding of the second round of the presidential elections, and said, "Pilgrims will vote in the form of 40 fixed and mobile boxes in two cities of Mecca and Medina."
This meeting continued with the report of Dr. Taher Daroudi, Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center, about the operation of clinics and clinics in Mecca due to the decrease in the number of pilgrims in hotels. Currently, 11 people announced that it has decreased compared to the previous days.
"Six of the patients are connected to artificial respiration and we are coordinating with insurance and airlines to transport them to the country," he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also stated that there should be a plan regarding the collection of clinics and the departure of medical staff from Saudi Arabia so that there would be no interruption in the pilgrims' visits to receive services.
The meeting ended with the report of Mohammad Masoumi, representative of the airline, about the process of transferring pilgrims to flight stations inside the country, and he pointed out that 192 flights have been made from Medina and Jeddah airports to the Islamic homeland by the end of today.
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also emphasized that from now on, the airline should plan and coordinate with the relevant parties in the host country to send at least 85,000 Hajj 1404 pilgrims in a suitable time frame and bring them back on time.
While thanking Iran Air, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized the health of pilgrims and said that so far more than half of the pilgrims have returned to the country calmly and without worry after performing their deeds from the Land of Revelation.
He urged serious and careful attention until the end of the operation.
