Hojjat Al-Islam Navvab: Prophet Abraham Taught Us Man Should Work to Gain God's Consent

In a meeting with the director and staff of the Supreme Leader's mission directorate and public relations department, the head of the Iranian pilgrims pointed out the lessons of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) in this land and said that "when doing things in the Hajj season, consider God and work for the sake of God's pleasure".

According to the Hajj Information Base, a meeting of the director and staff of the directorate and public relations department of the Supreme Leader's mission with the representative of the Islamic jurist and head of Iranian pilgrims was held in Mecca.

In this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab found the report presented on the performance of this field to be commendable, and said, "Your work and activities during the Hajj season are similar to the work in the holy defense stage, which has no time and is 24 hours a day."

The head of the Iranian pilgrims emphasized Abrahamic teachings during the Hajj season and reminded that one should consider God and work to gain God's pleasure, and in this case, a person will remain dignified.

"In work, communication, and activities of the heart, which is the second characteristic of work in the mission, hours and fees are no longer an issue, and the path of this spiritual journey will not be interrupted," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.

The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs continued to consider the mission's presence in the planning for the Qur'anic caravan as necessary and said: "Supreme Leader's mission has come to the scene with his meaningful presence wherever necessary and has done what he was responsible for."

Pointing out that in the last one or two decades, there has not been as much pressure on the mission as this year, except for the tragic event of Masjid al-Haram and the Mena disaster in 1394 (2015), he said: "There were some restrictions on this year's Hajj season."

Referring to the policy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Group regarding the reduction of agents, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized the need to use new plans to use the capability of the dispatching forces of this group in carrying out the work.

Before the speech of the representative of the Supreme Leader on Hajj and Pilgrimage, Mr. Alireza Salehi, Director General of the Department of Public Relations of Supreme Leader's office, reported on the actions and plans of this field during this year's Hajj season, and after that, the officials of different departments presented separate reports.

Appreciating the activities and actions taken, the Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized the need to use appropriate solutions for progress in various work sectors of this field.
