Last kumail prayer in Mecca with the presence of our country's head of pilgrims
Thousands of Iranian pilgrims who are present in the vicinity of Baitullah Al-Haram whispered their last kumail prayer in Mecca.
According to the Hajj information base, last kumail prayer was held in Mecca with the enthusiastic presence of Iranian pilgrims, and Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab gave speech to the Land of Revelation pilgrims.
In the main ceremony of the Iranian pilgrims’ kumail prayer, which was held at the Kadi Tower Hotel, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs explained the farewell as one of the religious teachings mentioned in the traditions.
Pointing out that this is the last kumail prayer of the Iranian pilgrims in Mecca, he advised the pilgrims to appreciate the last opportunities to be in the land of revelation and near the Baitullah Al-Haram and take advantage of this spiritual journey as much as possible.
Stating that the farewell is the same goodbye that is done when separating, like the greeting that is done at the beginning of the meeting, head of Iranian pilgrims said: In the Quran, God says to the Prophet when the believers come to you, say “Salam Alaikum - greet the believers”. When we appear in the Prophet's shrine, the grace and care of the Holy Prophet includes us.
Pointing out that Islam has instructions for saying goodbye, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated: If the Prophet (PBUH) shook hands with someone when saying goodbye, he would not shake their blessed hand and pray for the other party.
Pointing out that such behaviors are being changed and forgotten in today's society, he said: Shaking hands is a part of religious teachings and has the content of expressing affection and reducing annoyance.
When shaking hands, loving and positive energy is exchanged between the two parties, thus a psychological interest and relationship is formed between the parties, he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab continued: when saying goodbye to people, the Prophet used to pray for them and ask God good things for them, good work, fulfillment of needs, health in religion and world, and provision of a chance to meet again.
When two parties say goodbye, God provides good grounds, which creates hope in children, relatives, friends and acquaintances, he said.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs described the Prophet's sermons as lasting when saying goodbye to the house of God and stated: The Holy Prophet says that if a person sheds even a drop of tears in fear of God, God will count him as a reward like Mount Uhud.
The Prophet used to say that the believers should be brothers in the programs and have boundaries in their wealth and pay attention that the rights of others do not enter into their wealth and teach this to your children, he emphasized.
Head of the Iranian pilgrims pointed out the effect of forbidden food on the formation of personality and characteristics of people and advised the pilgrims having farewell Tawaf in their program and before starting Tawaf to remember the grace of Hazrat Haq, who has choose them for Tasharof among the relatives, friends and acquaintances and and this is due to the God's grace and care.
Make a covenant with God in Baitullah Haram, continue doing things like finishing the Quran, reading night prayers and attending congregational prayers, and avoid wasting the rights of others, he added.
Pointing out that some people read their prayers as a farewell prayer, he reminded the verses of deposit and entrustment in the prayers of Sa'i Safa and Marwah and clarified: God does not waste trust.
