Hajj delegations of the Islamic Republic and Lebanon ready to cooperate in Hajj, Umrah and pilgrimage

According to the Hajj information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and head of the Lebanese Shiite Hajj mission Sheikh Hassan Abdullah, today Tuesday (Mordad 9), in a video link, reviewed cooperation between the hajj missions of two countries in the field of Hajj and pilgrimage and they agreed on the establishing a joint working group.

On this video call, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs described the relations between the Hajj delegations of the two countries as good during the past years and called for practical steps and the use of appropriate initiative to improve the level of relations and also cultural and executive cooperation between two sides.

Referring to the new Hajj programs and initiatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran in order to provide better services to pilgrims in various areas, including ​​intercity transportation using the two shrine express train, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out to producing more than 2000 works on jurisprudence, rituals, the history of Islam and the lives of infalibles, the secrets and teachings of Hajj, the manners and ethics of pilgrimage, the political and social issues of Hajj, the sciences of the Qur'an and the interpretation of the hajj verses in the Research Institute of Hajj and pilgrimagethat it can also be used by the Lebanese Hajj mission.

The Research Institute of Hajj and Pilgrimage in Qom can play a role in taking practical steps to hold scientific meetings in the form of webinars, he added.

Head of the Iranian pilgrims identified the health and treatment programs and projects as a reason for the success of agents and reduction of the Iran’s deaths number during this year's Hajj among other countries in proportion to their population and said: the Hajj mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for cooperation in the areas of health, Medical, scientific, research and cultural with the Lebanese Hajj Mission.

In the continuation of this meeting, Sheikh Hassan Abdullah considered the great congress of Hajj as a suitable place for Muslims to communicate with each other and to raise the problems of the Islamic Ummah. He also said: in Hajj, Muslims from different races, languages, ethnicities, etc. gather and it can introduce what is happening in relation to the Islamic Ummah and the oppressors and those who support them.

Head of the Lebanese Shiite Hajj mission reminded the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes against Gaza and the daily killing of the oppressed and defenseless people of Palestine and referring th the international community silence in front of the criminal actions of the Zionist regime, said: Imam Khomeini always had emphasized that the Islamic Ummah to prioritize unity which is the cause of Islamic Ummah victory in the fundamental issues and problems of the Islamic world.

Stating that the arrogant world and the West are afraid of the Islamic Ummah unity, he added: Muslims expect the international community to stand by the oppressed and deprived whose rights are ignored in response to the crimes of the zionist regime.
