In the opening ceremony of Arbaeen Mission 1403;
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs called for special attention to offering prayers

According to the Hajj information base, in the opening ceremony of the Arbaeen mission 1403, which was held at the Ministry of Interior with the presence of various people, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab stating this issue, added: a survey of Iranian and Iraqi pilgrim brothers indicates that the fatigue of Arbaeen walking sometimes diminishes the issue of prayer. In such a situation, we should allocate the best place for prayer in the Mukebs and the best carpet under the feet of the worshipers and the best program. More importance should be given to this matter.

Stating that the Holy Prophet (S) said in a narration: "My Ummah always lives in goodness... when it performs the prayer and pays the Zakat", Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added: we should try to welcome the people who come to this spiritual journey, and in the Mukebs, more attention should be paid to the preparation for prayer than the preparation for rest and food, and pilgrims with proper planning can use the prayer with quality and establish a wider and stronger relationship with God.

He further mentioned this year's Arbaeen slogan "Karbala Tariq al-Aqsa" and considered the peace in the Islamic homeland in the shadow of the many threats of the infidelity world against this country as a sign of connection with God.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also called the calm and sedative spirit of the Imam (RA) as an indication of his connection with God, and referring to the presence of the Supreme Leader in pilgrimage places and night prayers, which is reflected in his statements, he said: Hajj Qasem Soleimani’s moods, the commander of the hearts, was because of his midnight connections with God.

Stating that on the war fronts and in the midst of the Islamic Revolution programs, there were periods when people had complete purity and quality and guaranteed their plans there, he said: today, Arbaeen has the same mood, some people who come to Arbaeen ceremony may say to prayer I have work at other times of life, but during Arbaeen days, they should learn to say to work that it is time for prayer.

By stating that in the pilgrimage of the Infallible Imams (peace be upon them), especially the pilgrimages that have been narrated for Imam Hossain (a.s.), including the Ziyarat Ashura, Ziyarat Arbaeen, and the Ziyarat Prophet, we testify to offering prayer and leading it, he emphasized the importance of offering prayer.

Appreciating the efforts of all those involved in organizing the Arbaeen ceremony, addressing the audience, he said: more attention should be paid to prayer by using the programs and methods of preaching in Arbaeen.

Referring to verse 41 of Surah Hajj - (those who help God) are those who, if we give them authority and obedience on earth, they will perform prayer, give zakat, enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, and they do not fear anyone but God because they know that the end of things is in God's hands, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated: God says about the believers, there are those who, when they find sustenance on earth, do four things, perform prayers, pay zakat as one of the obligatory duties, revive the divine and the branches of religion that have been forgotten in many places and they enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and they know that all powers are from God.

In the final part of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out the many results of the meetings and talks between two nations of Iran and Iraq and said: for those who started the Arbaeen program a few centuries ago, it cannot be imagined that today tens of millions of people continue their journey and participate in the Arbaeen walk.

It should be noted that the opening ceremony of Arbaeen Hosseini mission was held last day in the presence of Minister of Interior Mr. Ahmad Wahidi, head of the Arbaeen Headquarters Seyyed Majid Mir ahmadi, ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Iran Nasir Abdul Mohsen Abdullah and a group of officials in the Ministry of Interior.
