Hajj Officials Visit Iran's Interim Consulate in Najaf during Arbaeen
During the visit of the delegation of the Supreme Leader and Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs to the interim consulate of Iran in Najaf, the representatives of various organizations reported on the services provided to Iranian pilgrims and described this year's operations as smoother.
According to Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Nawab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, in the continuation of his trip to Iraq, went to the interim consulate of Iran in Najaf and met with Hojjat al-Islam Raziuddin Kazemi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Najaf and was introduced to the activities and services provided by various organizations during the Arbaeen season to the Iranian pilgrims.
In this visit, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and several of the deputies of this organization and the delegation of the supreme leader were accompanied by the representatives of the Mashhad Municipality, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization at the central headquarters of the aid and guidance of pilgrims and the international affairs of Sepah Bank, Red Crescent, Faraja, Insurance and Passport Administration of the Presidential Institution in the gathering of the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage area and the Consulate General of Iran in Najaf in their reports referred to the services provided to the pilgrims of Arbaeen Hosseini in different areas. And they listed some problems of the pilgrims in the Arbaeen season and emphasized that everyone has tried to plan properly to provide services to the pilgrims using the experiences of previous years.
Referring to the dispatch of more than 600 crew and more than 20 vehicles to Najaf to help clean the old city of Najaf, the representative of Mashhad Municipality said that these workers are working in three shifts and the officials of Najaf Municipality are satisfied with the services provided.

In addition, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, appreciating the efforts and services provided to the pilgrims, emphasized the need for more communication between the organizations active in the Arbaeen season, as well as the Iraqi parties to provide better services to the pilgrims, and the importance of scientific work. And he reminded the use of new solutions considering the damage of the previous years in meeting the needs of the pilgrims.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that with the guidance and supervision of the Honorable Consul General of Najaf, the Iranian institutions in the city of Imam Ali (AS) are trying to provide better service to the pilgrims, which is commendable.
In this meeting, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also pointed to the various services that the "Hamyar Arbaeen" application provides to the pilgrims and said: By installing this application, the pilgrims can get the information they need, which is effective in facilitating their journey.
"The Hajj and Pilgrimage Group has tried to provide proper facilities in the field of registration and dispatch of pilgrims, insurance and relief and guidance for the affairs of pilgrims and the lost," he added.
