Hojjat Al-Islam Navvab: Path of Imam Hussein (AS) Is Code of Resistance of Gaza People
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab emphasized at the gathering of scholars of Islamic schools in Karbala that the people of Gaza are resisting with the inspiration of Imam Hossein (AS) and with their pure blood they have brought the global arrogance and the armed to the teeth enemy to their knees.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, who was speaking at the Arbaeen and Islamic Convergence Conference in the Khatam al-Anbia Hall, pointed out that at the beginning of Islam, the Jews were and currently the Zionists are the most important factors of difference in the Islamic world.
"Today, the Zionists have become weak and powerless due to the fierce resistance of the people of Gaza," he added.
He clarified that the people of Gaza have made the enemy to the point where they send mediators to other countries every day to get out of the situation.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out that respect for the holy things has been emphasized by all religions and religious leaders, and said, "If respect for the holy things is not taken into consideration, the enemy will use it against the Islamic world."
Emphasizing that common directions should be strengthened in the Islamic world and points of difference should be reduced, he reminded that it does not matter to the enemy whether it bombards the forces of Hamas and the people of Gaza, who are Sunni brothers, or the centers of the Shiites in southern Lebanon. It doesn't matter if it targets Yemen or our brothers in Syria and Iraq.
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs while emphasizing that the enemy is seeking Islamophobia and destroying Islam clarified that the enemy has been slapped in the face by Islam and Islamic groups, and for this reason, it is trying to destroy the Islamic world.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stressed the need to eliminate obstacles to unity and reminded that the obstacles to unity are mainly extra-religious, which are created either because of desires or by arrogance, as Jews in the prophetic era and Zionism and arrogance in the current era have been trying to create differences by spraying.
He considered material issues such as mercenary and domination among the obstacles to unity, and said, "Intellectual structure is one of the other obstacles to unity, and some people only consider what they think is Islam and only themselves to be right. They should bring the intellectual structures together."
He mentioned obstacles, behavioral structures and internal complexes as other obstacles to unity, and stated, "Nervousness, groupism and selfishness are other obstacles to unity, and wherever nervousness is, unity disappears."
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab considered unrealistic perceptions of religion as one of the other obstacles to unity and while referring to a hadith of Imam Ali (AS) stated that if an ignorant person does not express an opinion, there will be no difference.
Examining the ways to prevent differences, he said, "Explaining the actions of Prophet Mohammad (AS) and the verses of the Qur'an, the explanation of the lives of the innocents, and the discourses of the scholars are the three main strategies for the revival of religion to prevent differences."
He pointed out that the Islamic Ummah should pay attention to kindness and love in the way of life and fight against oppression, discrimination and arrogance, Muslims should be innocent in their approach towards enemies and love God's friends.
In the continuation of this conference, speakers from Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Tunisia, and Iran expressed their views on Islamic convergence and the ways to achieve it, and the conference ended with the reading of the final statement.
