In the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs asked the officials of this area to prioritize the dispatch of Umrah pilgrims in view of the end of the Arbaeen operation.
According to the Hajj Information Base, in today's meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, by announcing this, expressed his hope that with the planning of the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the existing obstacles will be removed and Umrah trips will be held on time.
"We are obliged to follow up the affairs by planning in such a way that the pilgrims in the waiting line are gradually dispatched and the airline problem is solved by planning," he added.
Pointing out that with each day of delay, a thousand people will be reduced from the number of Umrah pilgrims who can be sent to Saudi Arabia during the Umrah period, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab asked the Civil Aviation Organization and Iran Air Company to discuss the cost The ticket and the number of flights should be done in the best interest of the pilgrim.
In this meeting, Gholamreza Rezaei, Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also reported on the work trip of the housing group to Saudi Arabia to rent hotels in Medina and Mecca and the interactions with the companies of the host country to start the Umrah trips, and said that follow-up to provide preparations for Umrah trips continue and everyone is trying to take a step forward and announce the date of the trips by determining the final price.
In the continuation of this meeting, Iman Shamsaei, Deputy Director of Hajj Organization's Management and Resources Development, reported on the follow-ups regarding the production of the comprehensive Atabat system, and Hosseini, the President of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also pointed out the bank's participation in the production of this system according to the needs of the organization, and the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also pointed out the need to use modern facilities and software with capabilities beyond today's needs, taking into account regulatory issues.
The meeting continued with the report of Saeed Kouzegaran, Director General of the Reception and Dispatch of Atabat Aliat, regarding the latest statistics of Arbaeen pilgrims.
He announced the number of pilgrims registered in Samah system as 3,057,818 people and the number of people who confirmed their registration by paying insurance premium as 2,942,305 people.
Director General of Admission and Dispatch of Atabat Aliat said that the death toll of this year's Arbaeen season has been announced as 78 people, 13 of whom did not have insurance.
He announced that more than 51% of pilgrims chose the first package, more than 44% chose the third package, and less than 4% chose the second package of the insurance company.
