Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization: Umrah Registration Process Is Smooth and Well-Received

At the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization pointed out that the Umrah registration process is continuing and described the reception of the depositors as good.

According to the Hajj Information Base, in today's meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the delegation of the Supreme Leader and the Organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage, which was held today under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the head of Iranian pilgrims, Seyed Abbas Hosseini informed about the completion of the capacity of the first days of Umrah expeditions. 


Referring to the measures taken to prevent scattering in the registration of pilgrims, he added, "With the efforts made, the cost of Umrah travel is a suitabl`e and acceptable rate considering the increase in air ticket prices and costs in Arabia."


The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also referred to the waiting line of about 5.7 million Umrah depositors, to a telephone conversation with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development to provide the aircraft needed for this operation, and to the meeting that is supposed to be held to resolve the aviation issues.


In the continuation of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab asked the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to give priority to informing about the plans of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Group for Umrah trips, considering the questions affecting the people.


Hojjat al Islam Navvab also called some of the points raised in the new guidelines of Saudi Arabia and the announcement of new restrictions in Hajj as non-constructive, and clarified, "It is expected from the servants of God to announce these points which are neither in the hadith nor in the religious books. And... it is mentioned that all cases should be weighed because the publication of speech must be reasonable in order to be accepted."


He stated that Hajj is for all Muslims and "we have already said that the ideas of the Islamic world's thinkers should be used and help for Hajj", and emphasized, "Islamic Iran's plans for Hajj are in line with divine verses, Quranic ideas, and defense of the oppressed. And it is also recognized by Muslims."


This meeting continued with the report of Gholamreza Rezaei, Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and Nasrollah Farahmand, the CEO of the Saadat Umrah Institute, about the actions and follow-ups carried out in the host country and the preparations for sending the pilgrims, and it was clarified that the work preparations in the implementation department have been prepared for sending pilgrims and agents and there is no serious problem.


In the continuation of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Hossein Rukn al-Dini enumerated some of the cultural innovations in Hajj 1403, and then Dr. Ali Marashi, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society reported on the services provided to Iranian pilgrims and processions of the active clinic In the fourth quarter of this year.


This meeting with the report of Saeed Kozehgaran, Director General of Admissions and Dispatch of Atabaat, about the dispatches of the first five months of this year compared to the previous year and the reasons for the decrease and increase in the number of pilgrims sent in some provinces, and Yaser Nabati, the Director General of the Strategic Office and Supervision of Agent Affairs, about the program The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in order to improve the knowledge and insight of Umrah brokers and the rules and regulations of the trip ended.


According to Nabati, a large number of brokers, caravan and hotel managers and executive agents have been added to the number of active pilgrimage offices in the field of Umrah in this evaluation plan and 220 pilgrimage service offices.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also mentioned the comparative report presented regarding the number of pilgrims in the first five months of this year compared to the previous year and pointed out the investigations carried out in the provincial trips and asked the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to hold a webinar with the officials of the representative offices.
