Umrah registration reaches 40,000
The number of people who have registered for Umrah trip reached 40000 people, it was announced at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
According to the Hajj information base, deputy of hajj and pilgrimage organization in hajj and umrah affairs announced at the Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization that until last night more than 38,400 people were registered and 9,700 people were placed in the caravan. The meeting held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Stating that in the first package, 90,000 pilgrims are expected to be sent, Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei added: Pilgrims will be dispatched from 16 flight stations to Medina and Jeddah airports, and according to the demands, it will be tried to increase the capacity of airline.
In the continuation of this meeting, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization said the process of registration is welcomed. He also informed about obtaining visas for the pilgrims of the first Umrah flights.
Mr. Seyed Abbas Hosseini pointed out that the necessary forces have been sent to Saudi Arabia to meet the basic needs of the pilgrims, and regarding the allocation of currency to the pilgrims, he added follow-up is being done with the Central Bank and will be informed if approved.
Emphasizing o the necessity to paying attention to the provision of various packages in pilgrimage trips, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs called the hajj and Pilgrimage officials to put the plan of land trip to Atabat-e-Aliyat and the Land of Revelation on the agenda and try to obtain the necessary permits and preparations.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said such joint trips can be planned for pilgrims of border provinces adjacent to Iraq in the first stage and then extended to other provinces.
He emphasized that the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, which is responsible for organizing pilgrimage trips to Atabat-e-Aliyat and the Land of Revelation, has always prioritized the satisfaction of pilgrims in its work plan. In this regard, with the beginning of Umrah journeys, pilgrims should be surveyed about the way of providing services in different departments and should be taken into consideration in planning.
The meeting continued with the report of Hojjat al-Islam Rokn al-Dini about cultural innovations in Hajj 1403.
There is complete preparation for Umrah trips in providing services and sending cultural servants, and cultural packages have been defined and prepared for Umrah pilgrims, which are provided to the pilgrims, cultural deputy of Supreme Leader Delegation Office emphasized
In the continuation of this meeting, deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat affairs Mr. Hamid Reza Mohammadi reported on sending caravans to Atabat-e-Aliyat and the follow-ups regarding the pilgrimage trips to Syria, and also referred to more than 100 percent decrease in the number of deaths this year compared to last year Arbaeen.
At the beginning of this meeting, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs congratulated the birth of Holy Prophet (PBUH), Unity Week and Sacred Defense Week and honored the memory of Mena martyrs on 2th Mehr 1394 and the incident of crane fall in Masjid Al-Haram.
