Arrival of Umrah Flights to Jeddah Airport to Start Next Week

In the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's delegation and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, it was announced that the arrival of Umrah flights will be transferred to Jeddah Airport as of next week.

According to the Hajj Information Base, in today's meeting of the planning and coordination council of the delegation of the Supreme Leader and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, which was formed under the chairmanship of Hojjat ​​al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the deputy of Hajj and Umrah affairs of this organization announced this and added: within the next two weeks with the increase in flights, 1,060 Umrah pilgrims will be sent to the Land of Revelation every day.


Gholamreza Rezaei stated that 170,000 Umrah pilgrims have been planned to be sent to the Land of Revelation by the end of the Umrah operation in the month of Shawwal. "We are trying to increase the number of applicants in the months of Rajab, Shaban and Ramadan.


Rezaei said that as of next week, all flights will be made from 16 flight stations inside the country to Jeddah Airport. "We are trying to increase the number of applicants in the months of Rajab, Sha'ban and Ramadan by increasing the flight capacity."


In the continuation of this meeting, which was attended by Ayatollah Seyed Hashem Hosseini Bushehri, the deputy head of Iranian pilgrims, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, described the process of Umrah operation as normal and desirable, and said that the flight capacity from 17th of Mehr will increase from two to four flights per day. 


Seyed Abbas Hosseini added: "In the provinces that have been added to the registration cycle since the first of Mehr, there have been more applicants and in some provinces, the allocated capacity has been completed in the early hours.


The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also emphasized the need to plan for better and more information to be provied to the applicants and asked the media, especially the national media, to produce public reports on the return of pilgrims from the first caravans of Umrah pilgrims to inform the public about the status of the trip. 


This meeting continued with the report of Mehran Farshid, General Manager of Plans and Programs, Information Technology and Cyberspace Security and an expert in this field regarding planning for the Hajj trip with an optimization approach and integrated planning in the areas of flight, accommodation and caravanning. Its advantages were mentioned if this chain is completed.


In the following, Hojjat al-Islam Rukn al-Dini listed some cultural damages in Hajj 1403 in a report, and the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also offered recommendations to improve this process.


Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri also pointed out that the investigation of the damages of Hajj 1403 started from the same season of Hajj in the meetings of Mecca and Medina, and stated: "To fix these damages, a suitable solution should be thought of. For some cases, which can be resolved in consultation with the host country, arrangements should be made, and for others, such as the flight and the long stay of the pilgrim in Saudi Arabia, etc., it should be tried to resolve it by holding expert meetings before the arrival of the monsoon.


This report indicates that at the beginning of this meeting, the head of the Iranian pilgrims condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime in killing hundreds of people in Lebanon, and emphasized: the dirty hands of the great devil of America are behind this occupying regime, but this time also like the failures of Arrogance in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. is their share of defeat and decrease in popularity in the world.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab condemned the rulers of some countries, who provide fuel for the fighters who drop bombs on the oppressed people of Lebanon and Palestine and make them martyrs, and emphasized that if the countries of the region today do not help people of Palestine and Lebanon, this regime will create crimes that will hurt them in the future.
