Hojjat al-Islam Navvab: Assessing Needs of Pilgrims Is Most Important Task of Umrah Caravans' Clergymen
The Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab at the National Conference of Umrah Caravans Clerics considered assessing the needs of pilgrims and improving the scientific level as the most important current task of caravans clerics.
According to the Hajj Information Base, the concentrated conference of the clerics of Umrah caravans was held with the presence of Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and a group of deputies and officials of the delegation of the Supreme Leader and the clerics of the Umrah caravans in the meeting hall of the Qom's Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Center.
In this national conference in which clerics from different provinces participated online, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab explained the duties and success of caravan clerics.
At the beginning, he pointed out that the current Umrah pilgrims have been waiting for Tasharof for years, and said, "Considering the ten-year suspension of the Umrah journey, many pilgrims are waiting for Tasharof, and now the path of this journey has been opened with the efforts and pursuits of Martyr Ayatollah Raisi and Martyr Amir Abdollahian and these two noble martyrs definitely share in the rewards of these pilgrimages.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab while referring to the noble verse which says "of those who strive in our way, We will surely show them our ways, and indeed, God is with the righteous", said: "God Almighty has given good news that with two important conditions of "effort" and "sincerity in God's path" one can achieve divine guidance and great victories. It is appropriate that this noble verse should be placed on the headboard of the clergy of the caravans."
The head of the Iranian pilgrims added that the duty assigned to you, the clergy of the caravans, is the greatest divine service and success. "Because in the special circumstances of the pilgrims, your guidance to perform the correct rituals can guide them to the best path and create the sweetest spiritual memories of their lifetime."
He pointed out that the important duty of the clergy is at the same time a heavy test, and to start this path, one should ask the Almighty for help and offer His favor to the pilgrims.
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs went on to express the various evaluations of the clerics of the caravans and the survey of the pilgrims, and said, "The mission of the Supreme Leader through its contacts has various evaluations of the performance of the clerics and at the same time a survey is also conducted of the pilgrims. Fortunately, based on the results obtained from the opinions of 1,800 pilgrims, more than 68 percent of them were highly satisfied with the performance of the clergy."
"Based on the analysis, there are some important points that are effective in the lack of satisfaction of the pilgrims and should be paid attention to. Therefore, it is recommended that the clergy provide a calm and anxiety-free atmosphere for the pilgrims. Also, the humble behavior with pilgrims will be another secret of the success and effectiveness of the clergy," he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed to the improvement of the scientific level of pilgrims, and said, "In recent years, pilgrims have gained more mastery of the material and it is necessary for clerics to increase their scientific level and mastery of rituals, history, secrets and knowledge. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the leveling of the caravan members and to estimate their needs along with answering the questions accurately."
In another part of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab referred to the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution during his visit on the 17th of Rabi-ul-Awl, and said, "We should not provoke religious and religious mistakes and the clergy of caravans play a very important role in this regard. The duty of all of us is to strengthen the spirit of unity and unity of the Muslim community against the main enemies of Muslims."
He also pointed to the bitter events that happened in Lebanon and Palestine, and said, "These days, we are in a sensitive historical situation and we ask the Almighty God that the frontline of Islam and resistance achieve victory over its enemies like in the past."
According to this report, at the beginning of this conference, Hojjat a-Islam Rukn al-Dini, the cultural deputy of the supreme leader's mission, while pointing out that there are now almost 1,000 Umrah cultural servants ready to serve, said: "This group needs to undergo additional training based on the plans that have been made."
He added that the practical interviews conducted with the clergy of the caravans are aimed at improving their practical level and updating various information that is needed to serve the pilgrims.
This report indicates that in this conference, various officials of clerical affairs, as well as the Supreme Leader's delegation explained the programs and the process of selecting and holding various courses.
At the end of this conference, Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Hossein Falahzadeh, one of the professors of Qom seminary, explained the latest issues related to Sharia rulings for those present at the meeting.
