20,000 Iranian umrah Pilgrims Return From Land of Revelation

In today's meeting of the planning council of the Supreme Leader's representative office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization presided by Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the most important issues related to sending and providing services to pilgrims for Hajj, Umrah and Atabat were discussed and it was announced that So far, 30,000 Iranian pilgrims have left for Umrah and 20,000 have returned.

According to the Hajj Information Base, in this meeting, Gholamreza Rezaei and Hossein Esmaili, two representatives of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to the Land of Revelation, presented an online report about the schedule of their visits and inspections during this trip.


Rezaei, referring to visiting hotels where Iranian Umrah pilgrims stay and medical service centers in Mecca and Medina, pointed out the intense competition with countries of the same level to sign contracts with the best hotels where Iranian pilgrims stay during Hajj, and said, "So far A contract has been signed with 30 hotels in Mecca for the accommodation of Iranian pilgrims during the Hajj rituals of 1404."


The Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj Organization also pointed out that there are ambiguities in the transfer of medicine, and said, "Many Umrah pilgrims do not bring their normal and daily medicines as a precaution, following the warning of carrying prohibited drugs in Saudi Arabia, including drugs containing codeine, which causes an increase in their visits to medical centers and high consumption of medicine during Umrah.


Guiding the pilgrims to bring the medicines they need, using the services of Saudi medical centers, increasing the transfer of medicine from Iran to the host country and buying part of the required medicines from Saudi Arabia were some of the solutions that the attendees put forward in this meeting and it was decided to investigate and be followed up.


In this meeting, it was also pointed out cases of Iranian pilgrims being arrested and fined following the publication of pictures of some places or smoking between the two shrines.


Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also pointed to the joint meeting of this organization with the relevant institutions in the affairs of Hajj and Pilgrimage and the necessary coordination for the planning and implementation of the Hajj in 1404 and said: to supply the air fleet to send Iranian pilgrims through the Civil Aviation Organization is also coordinated.


Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center, also pointed to the daily reception of between 600 and 700 pilgrims in the center's clinics in Medina and Mecca, and emphasized on providing complete services to Iranian pilgrims on this spiritual journey.


Hamid Reza Mohammadi, the deputy head of pilgrimages of the Hajj organization, presented a statistical report on pilgrims' pilgrimages in this meeting, and said, "Isfahan, Razavi Khorasan, Sistan and Baluchestan and East Azerbaijan provinces had the most pilgrimages in the first 5 months of this year, and Kohgilouyeh and Boyerahmad provinces, Lorestan, Kermanshah and North Khorasan have had the least number of dispatches during this period.


While appreciating those provincial officials who have provided worthy services for sending pilgrims, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized on encouraging this group of managers, as well as holding training courses and supporting managers of free caravans with the necessary conditions. .


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also pointed out the developments in the region and the crimes of the Zionist regime at the beginning of this meeting, and said, "Some experts and media affairs believe that now it seems that all religions and sects have gone away and two things remain, those who are with resistance or those who are with Zionism."


He added that humanity should thank all those who came to the field for the benefit of the oppressed in Palestine and Lebanon, and those who did not come to this field will suffer.
