The ceremony for introducing Alireza Bayat, the new head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and honoring Abbas Hosseini, the former head of this organization, was held with the presence of a group of officials from the country and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
According to Hajj Information Base, the ceremony for introducing Alireza Bayat, the new head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and honoring Abbas Hosseini, the former head of this organization, with the presence of the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and head of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the guardianship of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Abdlazim Hassani (AS), head of the Red Crescent Society, former heads of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, a group of representatives of the Islamic Council, national officials, deputies, managers, brokers and staff of the Supreme Leader's office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab honored the memory of Imam Khomeini who was exiled to Turkey on this day, and also commemorated the martyrdom of a group of students in 1357 and the seizure of the former US embassy in 1358.
He cited a hadith from Imam Baqer (AS) and spoke about loyalty, keeping promises, and being good to parents.
"Responsibility in all systems, whether divine or blasphemous, is a trust, and when a person is elected as a ruler, the responsibility given to him is a trust. Of course, in our country, apart from the responsibility of trust, it also carries with it the blood of the martyrs, and on the day of judgment, if a person fails to fulfill his duty, he must also be responsible for the blood of these dear martyrs," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
He added that Imam Baqer (AS) says: "God has not given permission to anyone in all three cases of returning trust, keeping a promise, and doing good to one's parents, whether they are good or bad, and it must be followed.
Stating that today the burden of responsibility has been removed from the shoulders of a brother, and added to the shoulders of another brother, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs clarified that "our duty is to be the servant of the pilgrim and not show him the slightest disrespect".
Referring to Abbas Hosseini's period of activity as the 13th head of Hajj and Pilgrimage, he considered his 30 years of service in the Hajj and Pilgrimage complex as the basis of his work, and said, "He was experienced, hard-working, always on the scene and concerned about pilgrims, and he did many things. It was done during his period, some of which were new, and his efforts are appreciated."
The head of Iranian pilgrims named Bayat, the new head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, as a familiar face in this group who cooperated with the mission in various parts and addressed him: "The work you undertake is both difficult and sweet". "It is difficult for 85,000 people to go to Hajj, which is considered as 85,000 lives, the result of many lives is just one Hajj trip, and if it cannot be served as it should be, they will suffer losses. It is also difficult because people are trusts and if something happens to them, we are to blame."
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed to the measures taken during past Hajj, which led to a 36% reduction in the number of deaths of Iranian pilgrims due to the heat of over 50 degrees during the days of Tashriq, and by stating that the internal environment of the country and the host country has changed a lot compared to the past. He reminded the need to pay attention to the provision of foreign exchange and aviation in the future Hajj.
He mentioned the need to increase the quota of pilgrims despite the limitations regarding the capacity of the plane and pointing out that some pilgrims have been waiting for about 30 years before being dispatched.
He added: "We have a large number of willing Iranian pilgrims abroad and I would like the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance to follow up on this matter and the host country should allocate a quota for their honor, because they are different from other pilgrims in terms of jurisprudence."
At the end of his speech, the representative of the Guardian of Hajj and Pilgrimage stressed the need to restore the rights of Hajj and Umrah depositors in banks.
According to this report, Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Alireza Bayat, and Abbas Hosseini, the new head and former head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, were the other speakers of this event, and at the end, the book Hajj of Disavowal, with the presence of these officials, and Hojjat al-Islam Ali Qazi Askar's guardianship of Abdol Azim Hassani's shrine was unveiled.
