We must take a transformational approach
Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization emphasized on transformational approach in the work and measures related to providing services to pilgrims.
According to the Hajj information base, new head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Mr. Alireza Bayat, at the ceremony of honoring and introducing chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, referred to his previous cooperation with the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and said: "it’s my honor to have returned where I do not feel any strangeness. The history of our cooperation with Hajj and pilgrimage and service in Hajj is about three decades.
When we look at the characteristics of the Hajj operation, we understand well what we have to do. The changes that have been made in our operational environment in Iraq and Saudi Arabia leave no way for us except using past experience and entering the transformative arena, he added.
Iran was in the past a model and leader in Hajj, and our standard was even higher than the host [Arabia], but now the conditions have transformed with the changes of the host. We must have a transformational approach. This will not happen unless all the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization cooperate and define the path with a transformational view, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization noted.
Mr. Bayat clarified that we need review in Hajj and Atabat. In the past, we had an excellence document as well as improvement of process which we used them.
Stating that our approach will change, he said: we are not satisfied with gradual reform, but we are moving towards transformation. I know that it is a heavy responsibility and we extend our hand to all of you. Undoubtedly, with the grace of God, the favors of the Ahl al-Bayt, and the help of all of you, we can achieve success.
Mr. Bayat stated: happiness of the old man and woman in the village is a great reserve for us. We should not justify the problem in the work. We can complete the work with the cooperation of partner organs.
In the ceremony, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, former head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, while congratulating Mr. Alireza Bayat, presented a report and a clip of his total activities, which he has been in this position since 1401, was broadcast.
