Azar 5, pre-registration of eligible people to visit Hajj 1404 begins

It was announced at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization that the preliminary registration (pre-registration) of eligible people to visit Hajj Tamattu’ for the year 1404 solar (1446 AH) will begin on Azar 5.

According to the Hajj information base, at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization which was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, deputy of hajj organization in hajj and umrah affairs added: the announcement will be published tomorrow, Tuesday (Aban 29), and the pre-registration details of deposit bills holders will be announced.


Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei mentioned the initial cost, 150 million Tomans, and said: once the final amount of Hajj is determined, which depends on the exchange rate and some Rial costs, the remaining amount will be notified to applicants with priority registration.


Referring to the follow-ups in order to determine the exchange rate, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization said: in this regard, a contract will be signed between the Central Bank and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.


Mr. Alireza Bayat added: regarding the aircraft supply, we are following up according to the Homa Airlines facilities.


Presenting a report on dispatching pilgrims, the CEO of Umrah Saadat Company Mr. Nasrollah Farahmand described at the meeting the conditions of Umrah journeys well and pointed to new decisions to provide better medical and treatment services to Umrah pilgrims in the Land of Revelation.


Stating that since the Hajj season until today, 53,840 people have been sent to the Land of Revelation in the form of Umrah caravans, deputy of hajj organization in hajj and umrah affairs said: considering that the quota for the months of Rajab and Sha'ban will be available to the provinces from next week, applicants can apply for visiting Land of Revelation in these months.


In the continuation of this meeting, Atabat deputy of Hajj organization, pointing out that 38,580 people were registered for visiting Iraq in the month of Aban, he said: capacity has been created for 44,000 people for the month of Azar and the capacity building and registration of pilgrims is continuing.


Stating that the trend towards cheap groups for traveling to Iraq has increased, Mr. Hamid Reza Mohammadi pointed to dispatching 246,500 people to Atabat-Aaliyat by the end of Aban and said: the majority of registrations and trips have been in the form of seven night travel.


At the end of this meeting, Supreme Leader representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized on more activating provinces in the field of sending pilgrims to Atabat and said: Hajj organization managers in the provinces should take advantage of appropriate strategies to attract other managers who have a significant contribution in pilgrimage trips.


All managers have experiences that can be used in dispatching pilgrims to Iraq, and by counting the problems, attracting other managers and using different methods, it is possible to increase the pilgrimage dispatching and moving things forward in a better framework that lead the increases of pilgrims’ satisfaction, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
