Over 60,000 Umrah Pilgrims Dispatched to Land of Revelation

At a meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, it was announced that the number of Umrah pilgrims sent to the Land of Revelation had approximately reached 60,000.

According to the Hajj Information Base, in the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, which was held under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Nawab, Mr. Nasrallah Farahmand, CEO of the Umrah Saadat Institute, described the general conditions of Umrah trips as good and complained about some airline delays in transporting pilgrims to the Land of Revelation.

He also announced new decisions to provide medical services to Umrah pilgrims, and pointed out the variety of food on current trips compared to Umrahs in previous years.

The Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also asked those involved in Umrah trips to provide a survey of caravan managers and clerics to express their opinions on the services provided to Umrah caravans and to inform pilgrims about the services provided.

"Given the length of stay of pilgrims near the Holy Mosque, appropriate accommodation and a peaceful pilgrimage for pilgrims should be provided," he added.

In the continuation of the meeting, Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei announced the possibility of offering a new Umrah travel package in the coming months, and said, "We are trying to add another flight to the Umrah flights if the needs are met."

The Deputy Director of Hajj and Umrah of the Hajj Organization said: In accordance with the emphasis of the Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, measures are being pursued to reduce the length of the Hajj journey, and the host country is expected to cooperate in this regard.

The Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also emphasized the need to protect the dignity of pilgrims in sending them from flight stations, and said, "In the event of flight delays, in addition to informing the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines, pilgrims must be provided with appropriate services."

Mr. Alireza Bayat asked officials and inspectors of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the Supreme Leader's delegation to monitor the operations of sending pilgrims during visits to flight stations and to take into account possible damages and problems for resolution.

The meeting continued with a report by Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center, on the statistics of visits to the center's clinics in Medina and Mecca.

He said that since the new start of the Umrah operation, the total number of visits by pilgrims has reached about 50,000, and so far more than a hundred patients have been hospitalized in medical centers in Medina and Mecca.

He also announced the call for doctors to provide services in the upcoming Hajj and mentioned the registration of more than 720 applicants as of yesterday morning.

The report states that at the beginning of this meeting, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, in his speech, considered the start of pre-registration of applicants for the upcoming Hajj as a basis for organizing the caravans and selecting the managers and clerics of the caravans, and asked the pilgrims to make special plans for this journey, which usually happens once in a person’s life, and needs to pay special attention to.

Pointing out that this year, due to the attacks of the child-killing Zionist regime on the oppressed people of Gaza and Lebanon, which are carried out with the support of the United States, the body of Islam and the Islamic nation has been filled with sorrow and grief, he stated, "Dear ones who are going to Hajj, let them remember the families of the martyrs of Palestine, Gaza, Lebanon and other Islamic countries and pray alongside the House of God for those who stood against America, the arrogant and criminal Zionists, and for the success of the Islamic world and Islamic Iran.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added that the late Imam regarded Abrahamic Hajj and the Supreme Leader  raised the issue of disavowal of pagans and wrongdoers based on the commandments of Prophet Abraham (PBUH), and this is the slogan of all free people and individuals who raised slogans condemning the crimes of the Zionists and the oppression of the Palestinian people.

The Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and pilgrimage affairs emphasized that except for the US, which is an accomplice in the crimes of the child-killing Israeli regime, even for the proponents of democracy, who of course do not practice it themselves, it was a great scandal that they did not condemn the Hitler of the time (Netanyahu), and therefore supported the arrest of this criminal.

Congratulating the anniversary of the establishment of the Basij, he continued, "The oppressed people of Gaza and Lebanon, with resistance, sacrifice, and perseverance, brought to light both the words of the Imam of the Ummah, "the victory of blood over the sword", and the words of the Leader, "the cost of resistance is less than compromise".

"The moral, political, and military defeat that occurred for the Zionist regime in West Asia was in fact for America and the liberal democracy of the West, and it showed that the anti-human thinking that Hitler once used and that Hitler uses today is doomed to failure, and Netanyahu and the former Minister of War of the fake regime are doomed and cannot even travel to other countries," he added.
