Unveiling Islamic Reference Books Library Software
With the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, the Islamic Reference Books Library software was unveiled at the Noor Islamic Computer Center in the holy city of Qom.
According to the Hajj information base, unveiling ceremony of the Islamic reference books library software was held with the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab at the Noor Islamic Computer Center in the holy city of Qom.
At this ceremony, head of the National Archives and Library organization Dr. Gholamreza Amirkhani and Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Rasoul Ja’farian Professor at the Tehran University gave speach. Head of the Noor computer center Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Bahrami also presented a report on the center's activities, including the features of the Islamic reference books library software.
It should be noted that reference books are books that have been compiled according to a specific order to provide concise, limited, and easily accessible information. This information is sometimes limited to the translation of a word and its meaning, and sometimes to terms and concepts.
The importance of reference books is that they are the basis for research; if fewer reference books are produced, it is a sign of backwardness in research and investigation in society. The more reference books are compiled, greater cultural, research, and scholarly progress in society.
Noor Center has used reference books in previous software (jurisprudence, principles, dictionary, commentary, philosophy, logic, theology), but one of the goals of this software is to collect reference books so that the user can meet their scientific needs in any science through this software.
