Joint Meeting of Officials of Supreme Leader's Mission and Islamic Propagation Organization

In a joint meeting, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the head of the Islamic Propaganda Organization welcomed the cooperation and synergy of the two groups in serving the target community and pilgrims to the land of revelation and holy sites, and called for providing the necessary conditions.

According to the Hajj Information Base, following previous meetings between officials of the Islamic Propagation Organization and the Supreme Leader's delegation, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, met and discussed with Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Qomi, the head of the Islamic Propagation Organization.

In this meeting, which was also attended by several deputies and officials of the delegation and the Propagation Organization, and was held with the aim of examining ways of cooperation between the two groups and their promotional and research activities, both sides expressed their opinions and suggestions and welcomed greater interaction and synergy in the path of serving pilgrims.

In this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Qomi while referring to the activities of the Islamic Propaganda Organization in 47 mission axes, emphasized the need to use educational aids in cultural activities in the field of Hajj and pilgrimage, and reminded of the possibility of cooperation considering the artistic, media capacities of this organization.

The Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also asked the Deputy Cultural Director of the Supreme Leader's Mission to examine ways to further enhance interaction and synergy between these two groups, and to provide the possibility of using the Islamic Propagation Organization's promotional and artistic products in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Group.

Pointing out that good plans have been implemented in the new period of the Islamic Propagation Organization's activities, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized that today's cultural servants must convey religious teachings to the audience using promotional, artistic, and media tools, and in this direction, the Mission and the Islamic Propagation Organization can interact and cooperate in various fields.

He mentioned more than 20 innovations in this year's Hajj and, referring to the film shown of the activities of the Islamic Propagation Organization, considered the programs and plans of this organization in relation to children, adolescents, youth, the Islamic Revolution, the Resistance Front, the Twelfth Imam and Imam Hussein (AS), and Quranic programs to be innovative and commendable, and emphasized the need to pay attention to all segments of society.

The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also asked the deputies and officials of both organizations to hold joint meetings to identify and present in an appropriate format solutions for cooperation and interaction between the Mission and the Islamic Propagation Organization.

According to this report, in this meeting, the vice presidents for culture, international affairs, management and resource development of the Supreme Leader's representative office, the advisor to the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and pilgrimage affairs, and the deputy head of the Islamic Propaganda Organization also presented their views and suggestions regarding opportunities for cooperation between these two groups for greater spiritual and cultural exploitation of the target community, the need to use new tools, familiarizing intellectuals from Islamic countries with the activities and initiatives that have been carried out, and providing a basis for cooperation between the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute and the Baqer al-Ulum (AS) Research Institute.

The officials of both groups stated that this is an important and effective task for the Supreme Leader's mission and the Islamic Propagation Organization, which can lead to a memorandum of understanding of cooperation with planning to strengthen and expand missionary, religious, and spiritual activities.
