Hojjat Al-Islam Navvab: Belief in Savior Heralds Bright Future
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs delivered speech at the Fourth International and Interfaith Scientific Conference about the role of the Savior in different religions and stated that the Savior's belief heralds a bright future.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, continued his trip to Tanzania, speaking to figures and elders of various religions, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Ibadiyya, Bahari, and Aga Khans, on the topic of "The Role of Belief in the Savior in Unity and Solidarity Between Religions" at the International Conference Hall in Dar es-Salaam.
In this conference, which was held on Monday evening with the efforts of the Al-Mustafa Community Representative in Tanzania and in cooperation with the Center for Interfaith Dialogue, on the topic of "Interfaith Dialogue and Collective Interactions on the Spread of Belief in the Savior", the Supreme Leader's Representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, while expressing some points about the importance of unity among religions and sects, especially in the current complex situation in the world, stated, "Belief in the Savior, which heralds a bright future, has many supporters all over the world today".
Stating that belief in a savior has existed in many religions since ancient times, he referred to Islam's viewpoints on Mahdism and the savior, and explained its importance in the eyes of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab recalled the widespread effects of belief in a Savior in human societies and considered this idea to be the basis for human peace and tranquility.
According to the head of the delegation of the Mustafa Al-Alamiyah Society, "Belief in a Savior in the unity of religions with the presentation of Al-Hadi Musa Salem: Sunni", “Opportunities in spreading belief in a Savior in the contemporary world with the presentation of Maher Dayo: Hindu”, “Challenges in spreading belief in a Savior in the contemporary world with the presentation of Hojjat al-Islam Taqavi: Shia”, “Messianism and its role in improving intercultural and religious relations with the presentation of Bishop Calat Christosiller: Christian” and “Dialogue between religions and its impact on a common understanding of the concept of a Savior with the presentation of Sheikh Hamid Jalala: Shia were among the topics and themes of this interfaith conference.
Hojjatol al-Islam Taqavi added: "The role of belief in a savior in unity and solidarity between religions, presented by Sheikh Ali Naib Mufti: Sunni," "The role of belief in a savior in confronting moral challenges, presented by Kruti Ajay: Hindu," and "Changes in belief in a savior in religions in the 21st century, presented by Hojjatoleslam Mohsen Ma'arefi: Shia," are among the other topics presented in this one-day conference.
According to this report, Hojjat al-slam Navvab also went to the Khojah Mosque of the Twelvers in Dar es-Salaam, the capital of Tanzania, on Monday night and delivered a speech after leading the congregational prayer.
Referring to a narration from the pious master of the Imam Ali (AS), he explained the characteristics of the Shiites.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized that according to a narration from Imam Ali (AS), Shiites who have the desired characteristics are the guiding light of the servants of God and these lovers are always with the Ahl ul-Bayt (AS).
The representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs further advised worshippers to focus on forming reading circles for Nahj ul-Balagha and Sahifa Sajjadiyah, adding: Nahj ul-Balagha is the book of life, and the twentieth supplication (Makarim al-Akhlaq), twenty-fourth (supplication for parents), and twenty-fifth (supplication for children) of Sahifa-e-Sajjadiyah are also very helpful for a believer.
