Jurisprudential meeting of the Maraji’ houses representatives

The criteria of the Ihram prohibitions in the security of shrine animals and plants were discussed in the jurisprudential meeting of the Maraji’ houses representatives. A jurisprudential meeting of the scholarly members of the Maraji’ houses representatives was held in Qom, with the presence of the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs.
According to the Hajj information base, at the beginning of this meeting, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said: Pilgrim flights to Taif airport began for the first time. The flight destination can be a good alternative for the Medina caravans.
This airport is 95 kilometers from Mecca and 20 kilometers from Qarn al-Manazil, one of the five miqats of ihram, and is located 75 kilometers from Mecca, where pilgrims enter ihram. This measure saves pilgrims time and money.
Hajj Tamattu registration has also begun, and about half of this year's quota has been registered by pilgrims, and it is likely that new calls will be announced for the registered priorities.
In this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Hossein Fallahzadeh announced the holding of meetings related to the criteria for physical capability for this year's Hajj Tamattu.
The issue of proving capability to perform Hajj after pilgrims' registration was also raised, and the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs provided the necessary explanations.
The meeting continued with the necessary discussions regarding "uprooting, cutting, and breaking trees and plants in the shrine" as well as "killing and harming animals in the shrine."
