Hajj and Umrah Deputy of Hajj Organization Stresses Readiness for Registration of Upcoming Hajj Pilgrims As of Dey 19

According to the Hajj information base, Monday's meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Mission and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, which was formed under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.

The deputy of Hajj and Umrah affairs of the Hajj organization added: For Hajj 1404, more than 76,500 pre-registrations have been done so far, and people have 72 hours after final registration to pay the rest of the cost based on the class of the caravan they choose.


Mr. Akbar Rezaei said: Four price groups have been defined for Medina and six for Mecca, and one price group will be related to couple caravans.


Mr. Alireza Bayat, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also added that pilgrims who want to be in a caravan can group and the group limit is 10 people.


In the continuation of this meeting, Mr. Nasrallah Farahmand, CEO of Umrah Saadat Company, announced the sending of 104,000 Umrah pilgrims to the Land of Revelation this year and pointed to the forecast of sending 400,000 Umrah pilgrims next year.


He stated that one of the concerns of the group is the air ticket price, which is dependent on the exchange rate and is effective in announcing the final cost of Umrah.


Mr. Bayat also added: "The airline has not yet announced the price of the Hajj ticket and we are trying to reach an understanding and final price within today and tomorrow."


The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also emphasized that the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization is the trustee of the people and asked the people involved in this group to return the amounts to the pilgrims if the obligations of the Hajj Organization have not been fulfilled, which the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization promised that quickly this action will be done and the pilgrims will be informed.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added that the sending of pilgrims in Ramadan and after the Hajj days in Dhul-Hijjah should also be reviewed and designed considering the satisfaction of the pilgrims and presented to this council for final decision.


The meeting continued with Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi's report on the standardization of food consumed in Hajj and Umrah, and Mr. Morteza Aghaei, deputy head of the Hajj Organization, described the reception of pilgrimage caravans in the month of Rajab as good.


Presenting a report on the companies that are active in Atabat tours, he said: Out of the 115 companies that received operating permits, 35 companies are active, and in this regard, the organizing and active performance committee and the necessary investigation and handling of the status of the companies will be done.


At the end of this meeting, the Head of Iranian Pilgrims while referring to the upcoming trip of the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to Saudi Arabia to sign the upcoming Hajj contract, clarified that some incidents that took place in the past Hajj, including the expulsion of six people and the invalidation of the Hajj of one Iranian pilgrim was not right and the host country could have planned and acted better.


The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs stated, "We expect the host country to act in such a way that when the pilgrims are present at the pilgrimage sites and perform cultural and religious programs in the hotels where the Iranian pilgrims stay, the pilgrims will consent to leave that country."
