Intimate meeting of Sunni Umrah pilgrims with head of the Iranian pilgrims
Speaking to the Sunni Umrah pilgrims of our country in Mecca, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs described land of revelation as full of educational memories and advised that pilgrims, upon returning to the country, try to preserve the spiritual achievements of Umrah trip.
According to the Hajj Information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab who is in Mecca, addressed the gathering of Sunni Umrah pilgrims from our country at the Mawakeb al-Kawthar Hotel. Referring to the virtue of visiting the House of God in the month of Rajab, he called on everyone to take advantage of the spiritual journey of Umrah and said that after this trip, our behavior should be different compared to the past.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab advised pilgrims take care of spiritual achievements of this journey upon returning to the country, and stating that the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) had recommended visiting this land and worshipping there, he stated that we are in a land where the Prophet of Mercy made great efforts to preserve the religion of Islam.
Polytheists pursued and harassed the Prophet (PBUH)on his return from Baitullah al-Haram, they poured ashes on his head and face, but the Prophet of Islam stood up to the polytheists and promoted the religion of Islam, head of the Iranian pilgrims added.
These efforts and sacrifices have been the reason of Islam survival and we, as pilgrims, could visit the House of God and breathe in the atmosphere and land where the Prophet and his companions breathed, he said.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab recalled the sacrifices of Hazrat Mohammad and Hazrat Khadijeh in the path of spreading Islam. Stating that this land is full of educational memories for Muslims, he pointed out the reasons for calling Hazrat Fatima (PBUH) Umm Abiha. He added: when the Prophet (PBUH) saw the boundless love of his daughter, which was the center of self-sacrifice for her father, he called his noble daughter, by the order of God, Umm Abiha.
He continued by listing some of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) advices and said: the Holy Prophet of Islam has advices that Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) considered them very valuable, including the phrases "everyone who oppresses his neighbor is not a believer," "If someone believes in God, he should not oppress his neighbor," "Modesty is a sign of faith," and "God loves those who are people of faith and chastity."
Umrah journey is like a source of light, and Umrah pilgrim can intentd and perform Umrah for many people, and the reward will reach everyone."
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also referred to the fire in America and the events that followed, saying: Americans’ property who leaves their home is looted by others. While learning from the school of the Islam Prophet resulted in the fact that when the martyred General Hajj Qassem Soleimani was stationed as a military advisor in a house that its residents had abandoned during the Syrian war, he not only did not use the property of the house, but even left a sum of money as the cost of using the house when he left the place and wrote in a note: "Please forgive us if this amount of money is not enough.”
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized that this is a lesson that the Prophet Mohammad taught Muslims.
