3,865 People Registered for Caravan Clergy Recruitment Exam

Deputy for Cultural Affairs of the Supreme Leader's Mission announced that 3,865 students and professors from seminaries have registered for the exam to recruit clerics for Hajj and Umrah caravans.

According to the Hajj Information Center, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Hossein Roknedini said on Thursday at a gathering of officials from the regions and provinces of the Supreme Leader's Representative Area for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs: After the announced call to students and professors of seminaries, "we witnessed a good reception from them, and 3,865 have registered at this stage.


After reviewing the conditions of the registrants, an exam will be held on April 11.


"In addition to the general call, we will have a special recruitment of clerics. Also, different programs have been designed for elite students," he added.


The gathering of officials from the regions and provinces and the Supreme Leader's Representative  for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs began on Wednesday, Bahman 3, 1403, with the efforts of the Cultural Deputy of the Supreme Leader's Mission in the holy city of Qom and continues for two days.


The participants in this gathering discussed and exchanged views on various issues of the Hajj 1404.
