Dispatching Umrah pilgrims from Hormozgan to Taif airport
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs announced the start of dispatching Umrah pilgrims from Hormozgan to Taif airport in Saudi Arabia, the second destination for our country's pilgrims after Shiraz.
According to the Hajj Information base, at the meeting of clerics and managers of Hajj 1404 in Kerman, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab also referred to the host country's restrictions on the upcoming Hajj and said: the conditions for Hajj have changed greatly compared to previous years and cannot be compared to the past.
Regarding one of these restrictions, he said: the quota for caravan agent has been reduced by the host country, so clerics and managers must increase their efforts to ensure that the services provided to pilgrims would be useful.
Referring to the advantages of sending Iranian pilgrims to Taif airport, including shortening the distance for pilgrims from the airport to the Miqat, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added: Hormozgan Province will be the second stop towards Taif airport for Umrah trips after Fars Province.
Congratulating the Fajr decade and 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said at the beginning of this meeting: what we have achieved today is the result of the past efforts, and we must also strive to transfer our experiences to future generations.
