Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab considered Arbaeen to be the inheritors of the Ashura resistance and its attractive culture in the world.
According to the Hajj Information base, at the opening ceremony of the International Conference on Arbaeen and the Culture of Resistance, which was held at Shahid Bahonar University in Kerman with the presence of professors and scientific and cultural figures from 30 countries, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab expressed the motivations and consequences of Arbaeen.
Arbaeen is the factor that perpetuates Ashura and Hpsseini uprising, and as an enduring culture, it is the heir to the resistance and its herald in the world, he said.
Perseverance and steadfastness in the path of ideals and truth are among the Islam teachings, as God addresses noble Prophet in the Holy Quran, Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added.
A resistance in the way of truth and for the truth is valuable. That is why the name and path of Imam Hossein (PBUH) became lasting and inspiring, because it was only for God and the revival of the word of truth, he said.
